I would explain it with people wanting an Omega, cause either they know it’s an „expensive“ brand or Someone told them it would be. Obviously they can’t buy a real Speedmaster, but something that comes as close as it can, though being colorful. I’ve been several times in the swatch boutiques and I heard many asking for the „Omega“ rather than the MoonSwatch. That’s why the most expensive ones on the secondary market are the Mission to the Moon as it looks the closest to the real deal!
Why would the Neptune be more expensive? It was the only one that had coloring issues, so maybe they stopped producing it and there are less out there?

But design wise and color wise the Moon and Mercury ones are the most subtle.
