Using the different camera angles on the bicycle was a great idea. It was fun to watch. Sometimes it is good to talk to someone who has already experienced what you are thinking about doing. It may have been kismet that brought you and the gentleman with the boat together. I keep waiting on champ to come dragging a tree along. Hahahah. Be safe out there and have a great ride.
As usual, a great job on the video capture and editing. I really enjoyed watching. I, too, dreamed of live-aboard sailboat cruising, for years. Not sure if I could mentally handle being at sea, out of sight of land, for any length of time, though. Would love to cruise the inside passage of BC and Alaska, and the Lesser Antilles of the Caribbean, but those can be done on bare boat or crewed charter boats. The ocean is an unforgiving environment for humans, so a minor problem in the middle of the Pacific could turn life threatening very easily. I admire anyone who has the mental courage and stamina to sail across the Pacific or Atlantic. Hope all is well over your way.
Don't let anyone kill your dreams. If you guys want to try life on a boat, then do so. I wouldn't rush out and buy anything, but put yourself in a position where preparedness meets opportunity and who knows what may happen :-)
Don't knock sailing just yet. If you get a chance try it out. I have a feeling you'll really like it. I'm sure you've checked out kombi life on youtube. If you haven't you should see his boat life episodes. Would be cool to see a collab with you guys.
you guys have a good thing! enjoy it now before you jump into adulthood with kids. If guys can live in a van you could for sure do the tiny house thing. That is popular right now. I enjoy the videos. Thanks for sharing!
+Mr Explainer loads more, like did you know that sometime shipping countainers will be bobbing around the ocean, just barely above the surface? that freaked me out, they're just bobbing around, too low to be sensed by radar, and perfect for smashing a boat. scary stuff.
+Shelby and Simon Gosh no i did not know that!- Like you i have dreamt of having a boat someday but been reconsidering. We have lots of canals over here in the uk. Lots of people now live off grid on the narrowboats. So that could be a safer option. You can live low cost legally on a canal boat if you move your mooring every two weeks! Probably not much use to you as there are no canals in the US or Canada?
If you have any plans to make a swing thru the Pacific NW (Portland, OR & Vancouver, WA) message me for a safe place to park, recharge batteries, get a hot shower, meal, and campfire (weather permitting). Safe travels!
your dog makes me smile. what a great boy.

not likely we'll be doing the kid thing, but this trip won't be forever, so we're trying to soak in every moment n
Looks perfect ! Yes a van is better than boat ! Lots more things to go wrong on a boat !

+Mr Explainer loads of rivers and lakes and canals in Ontario. but damn does it ever get cold
Love your videos
Wow since the drought in California their is no grass where you were at. Use to have green grass.
+Cheryl Patterson yeah we didn't see much grass for sure. I like the use of rock gardens and fake grass though.
Some awesome shots of the bike ride - Is this your first drone and is it easy to fly?

how did ya get the dent in the passenger front fender?
I liked this video. It seemed a little more personalized and not so much Casey Neistat-ish. I really liked the bike riding shots.
+NoProGoPronto love how people compare us to casey neistat, 2 million subs, hahaha i mean we love his videos
+Shelby and Simon funny I just found you and Casey ....I've been thinking about a sail boat but then woke up
