Hi Swirl! Longtime Sarra io community member/moderator here, thanks for playing and giving the game a fair shake. Sarra was originally launched in September 2021 as a community-oriented branch off of Tankster io. Tankster used to be quite popular back in 2020-2021 as a chaotic alternative to arras. When Sarra was launched, it split the franchise in two, with Tankster staying up and being run primarily by the original creator, MTS, and Sarra being run and updated by passionate voluntary community developers. Sadly, as of April this year, Tankster became unsupported by MTS (due to financial struggle), leaving Sarra as the only playable form of this franchise. Sarra as a game had gone through long periods of no updates or new content, and also suffered from community corruption, and as main arras advanced, Sarra became basically obsolete and its player count dwindled. Thankfully, when the community stagnated, the corrupt players moved on, and as of this summer the game has been getting more significant updates, such as the addition of rolling gamemodes which the ingame players can vote for (that's what the timer is counting down). Previously, the game only offered FFA. There are plenty of new features and modes in the works, the hardworking devs are also working to tackle lag and general optimization issues as I speak. This being said, the game won't get popular again without channels like this which shed light on the game and can introduce it to new potential players. Thank you. p.s. A lot of the fantasy tanks have special abilities which can be activated by g or right click, ex. the jet tanks have a boost ability when you right click. you can also press "h" to open the chat. Old growth is just a free kill mayhem for big ass players it sucks The only people who want old growth are the people who want free kills, pretty sure they also play GMARCW (growth maze arms race clan wars)
