You are right on. They pulled me into a friendship I thought would never end this way, I trusted and cared for them and then they started the whole devaluing, passive aggressive energy. All while pretending nothing was wrong but continuing to cut me down slowly and distancing. They still text sometimes and I just have a kind but detached energy. I want to block them but I’m too kind to do that and so I just take my power back and let them play the game by themselves. I don’t play games. Walked away. Friendship ruined for no apparent reason. Can’t control what others do only how I react to it. Took my power back and yes became stronger and happier once I allowed myself to mind to see the truth.
