i haven’t seen too many reactors watch this, but you should definitely react to their music video called “im on it,” and they basically made a whole song and cinematic music video for a car commercial! it’s really cool and underrated :))
Yes, they look young, because they were. 2016. Jungkook was 18, Jin 23 when this was filmed. And it’s about youth-it’s OK to fail. “I’ll forgive you.” Jin said in an interview recently this song turned things around for him. That he realized he could be whatever he wanted. It was his life.
This became their first song of the summer. It’s been used in everything in Korea when there’s heat. In the shooting Sketch they talk about being cold (?), but of course stage performances always have lots of fire, which they find to be a bit . . . hot. Thanks for doing this!
Fire is about being able to do and be whatever you want without having to worry about what other think. In the MV we have the underground partying, graffiti, and the guys just doing crazy stuff. Society wants to judge us for not doing what 'normal' or expected from the younger generations (e.g. go to school, have a 9-5 job, get married, have kids, etc.). BTS here are saying, who cares? Live your life and be happy. And Suga ends the song by saying 'I'll forgive you' for your decisions to be yourself. This song was part of their youth trilogy, and reflects one of main themes from the series about society's pressure on the youth. This also became BTS's first ever summer song as the gained popularity. The crowd gets super hype when BTS perform it live.
@@archanapatil2012 He still has much to say about the camera work and lighting in particular. He’s reacted to a couple of their awards performances on his Patreon account. The one a few days ago he live-streamed. So fun!!!
the car and just mostly everything in this mv is real (just except for the plane & fireworks) i think you should react to their live stages too mama 2016 fire live perf is a great one that was a legendary stage fr
BTS's first few albums focus heavily on youth, as they were young themselves when they released them. BTS's reputation at the time was the group that spoke of the problems of their generation in their lyrics and mvs. Glad you were able to pick up on it, even though fire is more of a fun track. Not that they were super subtle with Youth written on the fence. lol.
FIRE has such high energy - their live performance you can tell how insanely exhausting their choreo went. MAMA 2016 was my favorite performance for this song
you were right when you said that this mv is really youthful and have a lot of energy. The song, FIRE itself is an embodiment of having fun and not worrying abt the stressful life that came in enjoying one's youth.
Fire was my first MV of Bangtan. I love it so much bcause how energetic the MV is and it's so beautiful especially the concert scene when V threw himself to the crowd. That time i knew he was my bias. HAHAHAHAHA. 💜
Thank you for checking out the Fire MV Alex!! I never even realized that the camera was filming through the chain-link fence towards the end as they enter the building!! Nice eye!
There is an explanation video about this MV. It has a deeper meaning as you can expect from BTS. It has alot to do with racism and class inequality. Also there is a behind the scene video.
I love this video, and I’m in my 50s. As you say, it is very cinematic. BTW, there is a “making of” video. It sounded like you talked about it at the end - it goes into the car drop etc.
Omg Finally! Fire! 😍😍 Everything we see on the ground is real, the fire, the car, even the man with that Black outfit in the beginning was actually on fire, exited for your reaction to the behind the scenes, it sure is fire 🔥🔥
This is the song that break ground!!! FIRE, SAVE ME, and WINGS!! 2016 was the year that really let BTS stand out and break all the barriers! BUT YES, they really were babies here :P HAHA that's what makes their growth spurts so fun in their newer MVs :P
I'd surely recommend you to watch some award show performance of BTS (MMA 2019) You'll definitely love that performance! MMA 2019 BTS Full Performance!💜 And have a look at some Japanese Mv's too like lights and stay gold, those Songs are too good🥰 I'll be waiting for you to react on those😊 btw I love to watch your reaction videos 💜
Asking for you to react to BTS MMA 2019 Please!!! As always, i really enjoyed your reaction. I gotta say though you became a 'little' more expressive than your first video! 🤣🥰
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but the beginning shot where Suga shakes hands with the hooded figure (who catches fire) is a direct reference to Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" album cover - but it's reversed. In a later video they have the actual album cover in a record store window. If you're familiar with Pink Floyd's message here, it directly ties into BTS's. I always found that to be a really interesting Easter egg that not many people mention.
And as the other comment says, Bts have also done an advertisement music video for Hyundai. Ionic x Bts "Im on it". Dude if u can just react to it🤗🤗🤗. That music video is like beautiful beautiful not gonna lie😇😇
Indeed, BTS is the representative of Millennials Gen. I was 18 yo in 2016, all we wanna do is having fun and go crazy plus the feelin to burned down the house is there too😂
I truly like your reactions and I've been your subscriber since Blood Sweat and Tears reaction. Keep doing what you do you are amazing and very entertaining, also very informative.
It was meant to be youthful. That was the whole premise of the song. It was about living before time gets away. That sometimes it's okay to just go and have fun instead of working which is why Suga said "I'll forgive you" at the end.
Thank you for your reactions. I am learning a lot and have more appreciation. Was watching a kdrama Vincenzo on Netflix and I kept thinking the shots would be something you would like!
Jin has said Fire was where he gained his confidence and became more of what we know of him today.
He looks on point in this MV 😍😍
i haven’t seen too many reactors watch this, but you should definitely react to their music video called “im on it,” and they basically made a whole song and cinematic music video for a car commercial! it’s really cool and underrated :))
i suggested this several times. pls check this comment Alex
yesss im on it is so underrated
The song is so beautiful too😩💗
yesssssss
Yeahhhhh😍
this song absolutely slaps in concerts. it's actually insane cause everyone just goes crazy and you can tell that everyone has so much fun

Jin said in an interview recently this song turned things around for him. That he realized he could be whatever he wanted. It was his life.
🥺💜💜
Alex: ok, it says "youth"
Also Alex: This video is so *young*
Me: *coughing* 🤭🤭🤭
🤣🤣🤣
Hey
Lol... Mwaaah 😘💞, I love your perspective. I've watched your channel from the beginning, well done.
This became their first song of the summer. It’s been used in everything in Korea when there’s heat. In the shooting Sketch they talk about being cold (?), but of course stage performances always have lots of fire, which they find to be a bit . . . hot.
Thanks for doing this!
I’m glad you enjoyed Fire and that they used real effects. My favorite scene is when they’re ironing Jin. Thank you for doing another BTS video.
Thats my favorite part too. Its so funny and Jin is just there, enjoying the caos

Yes, the song is very fun, but it is also very sincere and thoughtful in its message. Thanks for taking the time to explain it
OMG Fire yes!!! And I really hope he watches MAMA 2016's FIRE live performance as well🙏🏻
The first performance of them I came across. So damn iconic 😭😭
Yes mama 2016 fire is my fav Fire🔥🔥🔥 with tae's "My birthday!!!" in the middle 😂😂
Yes yes please!
Oohhh but he is a film maker and if you are new to the channel he reacts to different music videos and cinematic stuff

When you get the chance I would love to see a reaction to Lights and Stay Gold. Those are 2 of their Japanese videos.
And "For You" too
YES PLEAAAAASE :)
Boy with love and war of Hormone and danger too
And "N.O" and "we are bulletproof pt 2" and "we are bulletproof eternal" and "make it right" too
You should watch “i’m on it” it’s their Hyundai ad but it’s so cinematographic
you were right when you said that this mv is really youthful and have a lot of energy. The song, FIRE itself is an embodiment of having fun and not worrying abt the stressful life that came in enjoying one's youth.
the song is even more energetic live 💀 especially when bts performed it as part of a medley with their ly tour
Alex questioning if everything is real is funny lmao
The word "YOUTH" en-cages the actual youth behind a lot of stereotypes, so they break free from there ;)
U should react to lights next its a very nice mv and its beautiful.
Would you pls checkout "Light" MV. Its their Japanese single and so underrated. The MV is so cinematic.
That is where the legendary 2016 mama performance started
Ahhhh that performance. After Alex’s reaction I had to go back and watch it. And the speech-and Yoongi. 💜
For sure you will also love "Dope" 😊😉
Took me the longest time to realize SUGA is listening to Dope at the start of Fire.
Fire was my first MV of Bangtan. I love it so much bcause how energetic the MV is and it's so beautiful especially the concert scene when V threw himself to the crowd. That time i knew he was my bias. HAHAHAHAHA. 💜
I wheezed when you said Jimin looks like a preppy white guy hahaha
This song was big. I did'nt even know them back then but i've heard the song💜

This is one of my favorites.

Alex, their MV for Lights is also very beautiful, you’re gonna like it 💜
