Hi from Belgium. I've just received the 2.1 update. In fact, we won't receive the 3rd part of 2.0. In addition, some good news on future updates. In fact I spoke with someone still in the European staff, and he told me the following: 1/ the development and improvement of the software will go on, as everything has been already financed. And 75% of the remaining staff is in software development and maintenance. 2/ the 3.0 version is ready and should be released from August. We should receive an email giving all the conditions needed to be able to receive this update. 3/ version 4.0 should arrive beginning of 2025. 4/ from now, the OTA won't need our validation anymore. It's automatic. And that's what happened with me for then2.1 OTA

I forgot to tell you that the Fisker app will be also updated along with the 3.0 OTA release. Wirh some cool stuff and .... The possibility to configure a new Key FOB by the uSe of the NFC contact of your mobile. But still only one Key FOB would be accepted for the car at the same time. You would have to keep the other one in spare but not configured.
Hi from Austria! In Austria and Germany many Oceans already got the 2.1 via OTA. My Ocean was updates yesterday - everything works fine 👍 i love that car. In my opinion we will be part of an exclusive community, there won't be more than the 10.000 Oceans that were produced. Anyway, for us the most important thing will be that the maintainance of the car is guaranteed... Kind regards from Tyrol 😊
I believe there is a way to force the key fob update on 2.0. My technician did a special combination of turning the car off and on to force it, but I wasn't paying attention to what he did. It's amazing how much better the key fob is now with that update.

This fix is for what happened with our FOU. It lost power twice on the freeway. A tech came out and had to re-install both MCUs. I hope 2.1 fixes the charge door warning and the Bluetooth issues. And I could go on……
In Germany and Switzerland Fisker announced to close the last locations by end of June. App do not open doors any longer. Hope at least OTA will bring us 2.1
Received 2.1 OTA the other day without any problems here in Germany. Nevertheless, the update was performed without any „heads up“. It started without asking for any permission just in the middle of the afternoon. The car lit up like a Christmas tree and it took approximately 1 hour for the update to finish. Seems like Fisker is leaving the German market completely: „Here are two body shops for servicing the cars. Good luck.“
Things that stand out to me: 1) 11000+ vehicles sold and being recalled. THAT'S A LOT OF VEHICLES 2) Fisker is still interested in doing over the air updates, which means they are still working on improving their software.
They have no employees. Henrik is totally inept and has expressed zero remorse for screwing everyone that was touched by this cluster f*ck. Henrik is an absolute idiot and grossly incompetent.
I have that exact issue. My FOE has been stuck in my driveway for 30 days! Mine would only go into neutral and Park. I had this failure while driving on the highway! It just shuttered and went into neutral!
That is great news. Except do we have enough technical support to push it out? The OTA updates don't always go smoothly and techs will be needed to make sure the update goes smoothly and completely. I had 2.0 and didn't even know it was missing parts until a tech visited to change my headlight and told me he's also updating 2.0 with the throttle response module and some other module. That question aside. 2.1 fix for all is great. (I really hope we make it to 3.0.)
2.0 bricked my car; thankfully a technician was able to drive from Houston to Austin to help before they got let go. I'm nervous that 2.1 will do the same :(
@@Ocean1_FSR The technician said that not all components got updated to 2.0, so when the car would start-up it would get confused and go into a form of safe mode. It would then restart again and it got caught into this loop until the 12v battery died. He came out and put a strong charger onto the 12v for an hour or so, then updated each module individually. Total time was about 7 hours to get it going again. It was nice talking to him, because I'd show him other issues, and he confirmed it's not just me. For example, my back passenger light stays on all the time. He said his does too. He also showed me all the easter eggs. Overall, it was nice having him out, but I feel super bad that he got let go in the latest round.

That sucks and makes the app worthless. We all need an additional FOB or at least a back up to get in the Ocean

No, the car actually showed REVERSE and I could switch between gears. Also, Auto Hold grabbed and released as it should have.
