I am wearing this from a decant and am on hour 4 and still very present and rich. Grabbing a FB as I struggle to find fresh fragrances that last and are not ‘too fresh’ / ‘too citrus’. Dry down doesn’t lose the freshness but somehow has a rich smoother and rounder profile.

Good review. They actually changed the name because they jumped on the the anti-Russia bandwagon because of Russian Oligarchs. Pretty funny considering Ukraine has Oligarchs too. I think I might need to get a decant of it, sounds like a long lasting summer fragrance which I’m always looking for.
Thank you and I’m aware of the reason for the name change just didn’t want to get into it. But if you are looking for a strong summer fragrance to push through the high heat Isola Blu is perfect 💯

Thank you! I am aware of the rumors but hasn’t actually been proven.
Oligarch smelled like a lighter version of Terre d'Hermes Pure Parfum combined with the original Ivory bar soap (if you guys have smelled that).
It's those 2 scents combined but in an airy, sophisticated, luxurious way. Beautiful fragrance.
This was the EDP of Oligarch I smelled. I imagine Isola Blu Parfum (Oligarch Parfum) is even better because it's a parfum or extrait concentration.

People always refer to isola blue to terra hermes, I get that kinda but it more gives the vibe of ex nohilo blue talisman

Isola blu smells brighter and less like incense to me. Oligarch smell denser.

I once owned Oligarch EDP, but sold it for a nice profit. It turned into a skin scent within an hour - unacceptable.
The opening is perhaps the most beautiful of all perfumes I’ve ever smelled. But Elysium Cologne absolutely destroys it in terms of projection and longevity.
My bottles of Reckless, Danger, Vetiver, Musk Aoud and both Elysiums are all excellent performers with 7 hours or more. If Isola Blu can’t hit that bar, I believe a 2 ml sample is more than enough to please my curiosity.
