Nice to see something running mate and great to see that joint sorted out at the end. Manufacture in 1977 the Airfix class 31 was the heaviest and strongest pulling loco on the market and it’s great seeing one run as if it’s just come out of the factory. Thanks for sharing Clive and I look forward to seeing the next instalment. Andy
Nothing more satisfying to see a loco running around the layout after all the work put in to it also better to recycle we are too much a throw away society.
You've done a grand job getting it back to life Clive, you've got a great starting point for doing scenery etc.
I was thinking, some of my electronic ideas, as it`s easyier to get under and I don`t mind having to chop it around to try some ideas

Well done Clive, looking good
Thanks Tom, Time for a shake down run seee what it turns up.
You've done a splendid job with that Clive my friend
Thanks Digger, still a bit to do, now we`ll have to see what stock will run.
Everyday a bonus Clive. Looking good,
Yeah way to go yet but it`s getting there, free day tomorrow so might gets some time in there
Gteat stuff Clive.
Now you have your own Home Entertainment System!
Happy Modelling.
carpet and a beer fridge next
That's an incredible bargain Clive. It's not a bad layout at all.
No Not bad, once I iron out the niggles, It should do over winter

Yes It Will do me a turn for now, and probably be recycled into the bigger layout.
nice to see a loco running!
Tested a better controller sso a little more power now.
Good to see your repairs have paid off! I've got a bag of adjustable plastic feet from kitchen units if you'd like them (and if I can find them)?
Thanks, I might be in the same situation with cabinet feet, now you mention it, but as you say I need to find them first, Lol
The place where you are going to have problems is the triangle. That, like a reverse loop, is a dead short.
Yes. I`ve left it dead for now as it doesn`t have insulated points either, but the track is damaged down the line so it has no purpose at the moment.
Hello Clive
Wow you have worked your magic on the old layout.
Are you going to have a complete DCC layout or a DC and DCC line?
Dcc probably all through if a loco comes in dc, I can test it on the other board.
