Sun/Saturn could mean someone has learned to identify themselves not with ego (Sun) but with humble service (Saturn). Partially because ego-driven path never worked out for them so they learned gradually what they need is true humility and living to serve, serve others, serve gods, and serve the humanitarian ideals. I know you said that success by someone with Sun/Saturn makes you question their motives, as it just be overcompensation. I think that's only the lowest level of expression of such a conjunction. Most astrologers as most people are not wise enough to measure the soul maturity of the chart they are reading, but a responsible astrologer should always assume the best, as in this way they can bring out the best of the person whose chart they are reading.

You nailed it on structure. I feel like I need structure but I don't get it because this conjunction is in the 12th. Fun fun. The people who dislike me are usually type A good looking people who have it easy in life. They didn't grow up a neurodivergent child who was prone to depression in an unsupportive home where they were often talked down to or ignored. I was pretty good in school despite all my challenges and I was also good at sports. My family saw it as a burden to take me to sports practices growing up. I saw other kids with parents that supported them totally and I always resented them. You tell people to forgive Sun-Saturn people and have come compassion, but I think us Sun-Saturn people need to have compassion and forgive others. Those of us with Sun conjunct Saturn have known abandonment, mistreatment, and suffering. Most people can't understand the kind of suffering we have endured.
I have sun conjunct saturn in capricorn, I am over responsible. If I make promise, I keep it no matter what. I am too loyal.

Wow! This sounds nothing like me. I would never dare step on anyone. Strange interpretation Ryan 😕 because it doesn't suit my character. I have Jupiter within 2 degrees of Sun though. I guess this changes things. But I have lots of compassion and I'm usually the one being stepped on or have trouble speaking up 😕
My severe self esteem issues are to blame. With lack and overcompensation you hit the nail on the head. This has also led me to get into problems with authority sometimes so severe where people were just out there to get me.
Spot on. I have this same placement but in the 7th house...awful! I have a lot of libra placements in my chart too so I'm very kind..but people seem to "be out for me" or make problems for me for no apparent reason, it blows my mind..I blame it on being too nice, sometimes I switch it up and become a total butthole thinking that will bring about a different result..unfortunately no. This is a very tough position to have. Many of my problems seem to be with people (not surprised with this combo being in 7th house) I have great social skills but bc of some unknown "disconnect" I pretty much default to being a loner, being social to me isn't worth constantly being attacked and targeted for no reason.

Ryan your bang on right. My cousin has this combo in the 4th house. She's had huge issues with father and school while growing up. Also sun being in drikbala, her ego is not well formed(totally absent sometimes or not required at all). Thank you for the knowledge
Wow, I am really astounded by this description of Sun/Saturn. I have this combination in Pisces, Sun combust Saturn. I don't feel like I am superior or "know best all the time." I agree with the point you make about not being able to achieve "great things" as I did have some obstacles early on, but I am not bitter about it. I do work hard when I like what I am doing, not because a sense of lack or overcompensation. It's funny that in some astrology classes I have taken people look at this combo in my chart and the first words out of their mouth are "you have low self-esteem." Really? I don't feel that way but it does hurt when people make such radical assumptions. You seem to have a very negative view of this combination, why? Why make such a negative video? There has to be more to this combination other than make us Sun/Saturn people into these selfish ogres. By the way I am not angry, just shocked to hear there is hardly anything positive about this combination.
Some combinations are just not that easy. That's why its important to remember, there are other planets and positions in the chart. If this were the only influence a person was contending with, yes it would be as stated, but that is not the case in anyone's chart.
This video has kind of left me feeling similar to Sandra. I have a one degree apart Sun/Saturn conjunction in Aquarius in the 6th house. The conjunction opposes Mars in Leo in the 12th and squares both my Taurus moon near the midheaven in the 9th and Neptune in Scorpio in the 3rd (which if I understand correctly is a grand cross.) I have seen people who try to advance by stepping on others as they climb the ladder and it greatly reduced my respect for them. My early mentors were a hardworking mother, aunts and first boss. I began working at a young age, I have always been a hard working devoted employee. That dedication and willingness to please hasn't made me wealthy, but I have felt appreciated along the way. Am wondering what you would suggest to help others younger than I who might feel the "dutiful weight" of this conjunction so they can succeed and achieve their dreams?

The interesting thing here is that person may have pride but at the same time a very low self-esteem. Which creates a rather confused combination.
Don't you know any one who might think lowly of themselves but tries to make up for it by overcompensation then ends up pushing too hard?
Which makes one wonder if pushing too hard is really effective or worth it. On the other hand, I like the idea of overcompensation that you present in the video.
Sun Saturn overcompensation usually HURTS the people around the person. It's ok to use will to overcompensate for weakness and get stronger, but this is just force to prove something, not usually due to inspiration.

jupiter 6 living near father in law or mother in law is really not that great if they are very meddling or dominating. You don't need astrology for that,If you feel uncomfortable or suffocating, chances are they are making you feel that.

It could. But there has to be a conjunction or aspect in D1 for it to fully manifest. Watch for the videos on how the vargas are created to understand this principle fully.
I have Saturn in Aries in the 9th conjunct Sun and Chiron in Pisces in the 8th, as well as Moon and Rahu in Taurus in the 10th...my Moon is sextile Saturn/Sun/Chiron and conjunct the asteroids Dejanira, Algol and Capulus...One western astrologer said that they think the hardest placement for emotional wounding and abuse in western Astrology is Moon conjunct Dejanira, (the victim asteroid)...which I have...also, it looks like I have Saturn in Aries in at least 9 of the charts on Ernst Wilhelm's page...i'm sure there are plenty of other debilitating things I have as well, as my life was / is off-the-charts impossibly difficult...plus my Saturn period is coming up in 3 years...Thank you for your videos...
Oh, plus I have a debilitated Mercury in Pisces at 4 degrees trine Mars in Scorpio at 3 degrees...and Transpluto exactly conjunct my Leo ascendant at 13 deg. in birth chart...Pluto and Uranus in Virgo in 2nd house...money has been impossible for me to come by in my life and that has been excruciatingly difficult...It's as if I picked a lifetime where I could fit as many super difficult things that I could barely handle...

I don't relate much to this description and my Sun is at 4'11 Scorpio and Saturn at 27'37 Scorpio, so in Vedic Astrology they're conjunct. I certainly feel Saturn in my life, being my AK and Asc ruler, but I just don't feel the Sun-Saturn dynamic...
What are they tropically?
To be a conjunction they'd have to be no more than 10 degrees apart. Of course there's an influence because the two planets are in the same sign but the energies are not so merged together. The closer the orb, the stronger is the affinity between the two planets... I thought in Vedic was the same thing.
