What are you on about? This channel just runs what ever has a high winrate and trying to educate you through live gameplay. Is it embarrassing because its bad or because it works 😅.
@@whatwentwrong369 my comment was broadly about culture, but we can chat about statistical trends broadly if you'd rather that. The problem lies wherein he talks about picks because they're high winrate on a patch or two, not high consistency in the longer term. Especially given caitlyn doesn't belong in toplane, when this pickrate starts to shoot up it will get nerfed. This from an educational standpoint is a failure to teach, because rather than show form and method, shortcuts and exploits are highlighted. Before you mention his jungle content, I am aware he does pathing and clear speed teaching, and I don't take issue with any of that, but this is like if a history teacher with a prescription drug side business had to sub for math and told the students that they should just abuse adderall. It's not good for them, it won't actually help in the long term, and is a cheap attempt at a quick cash grab that represents a failure in educational competency.

If ranged top picks were a significant percentage of his videos I'd see the argument but on the ocasion where it's not a jg vid it's usually whatever especially meta or strong during the patch that accommodates plat and lower elo, Darius, Garen, Trundle, Ww top, Morde, etc.
The ranged videos aren't a favorite but at this point I've stopped caring since it's generally easy to deal with those types of players. Actually watching how a good Cait would play the lane also gives info on how you could take advantage of trade patterns and such or where the enemy top screwed up to where they could've gotten a kill, gotten ahead in farm and so on. There's always something you can get out of them I guess. Plus, deserved for playing ksante.

Cope harder, and no this isn't a "good cait", this is the best game he could pull out of 3-5 where he probably inted his face off in the remaining matches. I guess maybe you've never watched this kind of youtuber record stuff before, they only let you see the games that make them look good. Even if everything I just said in this reply is false, which it's not, everything I said about it being the mark of an incompetent teacher to teach shortcuts and not discipline and method stands tall. You probably haven't ever taught anyone anything meaningful, but maybe think back to teachers that had a profound impact on you; it was always because they instilled a sense of discipline and passion in you for the subject and taught you method to improve in it.
