    hey hey hey! We appreciate the shoutout! I will be uploading loads more as it gets closer to spring. We always get slow around this time because there is not much to film with 10 inches of snow outside. The only thing we are growing right now is our snow piles.... Can't wait to see how your plants grow!

      Hey! Thanks for watching my video! I have heard nothing but good things about you company and I look forward to getting my seeds in the mail soon. Funny thing about that video... I did all that talking about Tangi's coupon code and when I placed my order I completely forgot to put in the code! I'm not too worried about it though because you seed prices are so awesome as it.
      Yeah I understand about all the snow! It has been really nice here in Oklahoma the last several days.

      Wow that's pretty awesome. I still have some carrots, kale, and spinach in the high tunnel that was planted in the fall. We've been eating off them all winter.

    Looking forward to seeing your seed haul and how your garden does this coming season, those goats loooked very happy, acorns = goat candy lol

    • @ArmsFamilyHomestead
      @ArmsFamilyHomestead  8 лет назад

      Yeah, I just placed the seed order yesterday. Goats do love acorns and they are really good for the too.

  • @Guildbrookfarm
    @Guildbrookfarm 8 лет назад

    I'm envious of your high tunnel set up. Really nice! I also think it's pretty cool that you free range your goats on acorns. Do you have trouble getting them back in?

    • @ArmsFamilyHomestead
      @ArmsFamilyHomestead  8 лет назад +1

      They are not hard at all to get back in with a feed bucket. Just shake the bucket and they come running.

    that soil blocker look neat, an investment. I miss playing in the dirt. lol we have a ft or a little more of snow on the ground now with a wintery storm warning for today so seeing that dirt was great. thank you for the inspiration.

      Yep free food is always great! The soil blocker is amazing! Buy it once and you are done! You don't have to keep buying plastic trays, cups, or peat pots.

    • @ArmsFamilyHomestead
      @ArmsFamilyHomestead  8 лет назад

      Well since it's well over 80 degrees in the tunnel during the day right now I bet they germinate with no problems at all. I just hope we are finished with the single digit cold spells.

    Tangi is like the second or third person I seen promoting Luke's great deal :) being in Canada just 8 packs with shipping was close to 16 bucks but I'm sure it's worth it :)

    • @ArmsFamilyHomestead
      @ArmsFamilyHomestead  8 лет назад

      Booo for the shipping! I hate that it cost so much to ship. Heck even here in the past when I've ordered from other seed companies they charge up to 8-10 dollars for shipping on a hand full of seed packets.

  • @kan-zee
    @kan-zee 8 лет назад

    Excellent.,, thank goodness you were on that leak ...could of been a bigger prob, down the road.
    Are you making a record / log of your early planting ? If so, can you show us how your planting journalling looks, for inspiration ??

    • @ArmsFamilyHomestead
      @ArmsFamilyHomestead  8 лет назад

      Yes that could have been a bad problem! As far as planting journals are concerned that is one are where I fall way short. I'm terrible at keeping a record book of my gardening. I know I need to do a better job but I never seem to stay on task and get it done.

    You will not be disappointed with MiGardner seeds, I have been using his products for 2 years and they have near perfect germination rates. Check out his Trifecta plus also, it's a great product! I almost bought that water wand on Amazon last night 😂 when I bought the greenhouse Tangi suggested , I needed a few bucks for free shipping 🤣😂🤣😂 I went with fabric banister herb bags instead

      Awesome to hear. I'm planning on ordering a bunch of seeds from him today or tomorrow sometime. I love that little waterer. It has a mist setting that is perfect for watering in tiny seeds and seedlings.

    We juice daily, but have never tried juicing bok choy. What is your favorite bok choy juicing recipe?

    • @ArmsFamilyHomestead
      @ArmsFamilyHomestead  8 лет назад

      Oh its great in lots of juices. It's a leafy green that doesn't have a strong flavor. It's just so full of water that it adds a lot to any juice. I put it in all kinds of juices.

    How would you describe the taste of goats meat?

    • @ArmsFamilyHomestead
      @ArmsFamilyHomestead  8 лет назад

      I would say its similar to deer meat but not gamey tasting at all. It's much like beef but very low in fat so it will dry out if you aren't careful.

    i have a question for anybody? the cough type gag that duke did what causes that my goats all of the sudden are starting to do that?

    • @ArmsFamilyHomestead
      @ArmsFamilyHomestead  8 лет назад

      I don't know that anything is really causing Duke to do that. I may be wrong, but he only does that every once in a while. I could be missing something that I don't know though.

    • @mikeyperna2122

      Same with mine its weird during the winter they didn't do it but now that its getting warmer they are.
