As Islam promotes forgiveness, in some cases being harsh on some might be the best option as we can see this in the practices of Ahlul Bayt (a), like the man who explained to prophet Mohammad (s) that how he buried her daughter alive and the prophet refused to see him anymore, or the Wahshi that killed Hamza (a), the prophet told him not to face him anymore, or a man who disrespected his father and Imam Baqer (a) after that incident never greeted him anymore.
