The On-Camera Audioclarifier with custom mold is best for permanent on-camera talent. To process a new custom ear mold, you must order an impression kit first. Take an impression of your ear and carefully follow the instructions and send the ear impression back in the same mailing box supplied with your kit.
"Audio Implements" are the original pioneers of the IFB earset and have been manufacturing them since 1967. All major television networks use their products and have for many years. In addition to broadcast IFB earsets, they also manufacture earpieces, listening devices and amplifiers for television and security industries.
These videos are the result of more than 20 years of experience in broadcasting, learning the best ways to create, present, and deliver content: now adapted for the powerful realization of home studios across the last few years.

Great video! I'm looking at the manufacturer website, and I'm a bit confused on what all I'd need to buy. If I wanted to take the plunge, it looks like I need the Custom Ear Mold Impression Kit per ear, one New On-Camera Ear Audioclarifier with Ear Mold per ear, one Audio Receiver per ear (I assume that's the "driver" or "speaker"), and then perhaps a VSS-500 Cord per ear to provide a 1/4" plug. Is there more to it than that list? (Seems like they could benefit from a "how to order" page and/or a "cord finder" tool...)
