at O'hare Airport in Chicago they use several kinds. Now the wide blades like this are driven by John Deere tractors; they still use a lot of old snowblowers, since there's nowhere to put the snow. Then they need loaders and haul it away on big dump trucks, since there's no place to put it near the terminals. Downtown they use big melters that melt the snow and the water drains down the curb sewers.
Thank god we are in a temperate zone where I live, but saying that we sometimes get snow but not that much year in and year out. Daffodils are in flower now and crocus look wonderful.
You can run it either way but it's much easier to operate on the frame mount. On a loader we find it's hard to keep the blade at the proper level. The harness will also take alot more abuse then the loader will. If your an experienced operator you'll most likely make out fine with a loader mount but if you have alot of hired help just for the winter the harness is more straight forward for anyone to drive.
This looks like a great design for municipal use, but for somebody like me who clears trails, driveways and gravel roads with them where they get the shit kicked out of them, a regular solid plow is best
Remember the years they hauled the snow to the freight yards, loaded train after train of open hopper and gondola cars with snow and gave orders "Head South". lol One year a 24-7 plow /loader operator went berserk and plowed over countless cars in revenge. :>)
question what are you supposed to do when you only have one spare hydraulic line that powers that kind of stuff.... it looks like you need 3 of them and I wouldn't plum in 2 extra hydraulic lines just for that... plus what is wrong with just a plain snow bucket...
good point we have one on our new loader bucket that we built a few years ago that you can operate 2 separate grapels so you can drop/grab and adjust for different size bales. never thought about that.
I have a 18 foot version mounted on a 644 john deer loader. Havent popped a hose in 3 years of temps as cold as -40f. It cuts bucket plowing time down literally by 70% and does a cleaner job with the right operator. Mine isnt an HLA brand its a different brand but exact same thing. Makes me tons of cash, wouldnt go without one.
very good.... to totally screw up your nice new loader arms! forget your warranty with that thing! just use a regular frame, because it always gets punished while snow plowing! maybe it's good for pushing maize.
Just wondering here, is a "massive 180°'" So how much is that then, perhaps 181°. In fact it is impossible to have a massive hundred and eighty degree, it is simply a hundred and eighty degrees of movement. By the same token there is no such thing as a huge 1000 foot ship, There can be a hug ship. There can be a 1000 foot ship, but no 1000 huge ship. If the size is listed then that size denotes its maximum. you can't get a massive 10 feet square blanket. There is a ten feet square.
Too bad Washington State Department of Transportaion has snow plow blades that are being used outside their desgin when they have the blade down slush will slam into on coming traffic cracking winshields . You should sell WSDOT your blade . Anything that will assure no snow going into on coming traffic will make you rich
Shame the rules of 'exageration' the advertisers use do not take any notice of these facts. Anyone with a few brain cells can see almost all the adverts using this type of examplar are rubbish.

plowed snow for many years and their equipment is among the top for quality

The scene starting at 2:43 is priceless! Small dozer, big heap, then the large dozer moves it like it's nothing!
Would be good if we had snow here... No snow in Minnesota.... Sad day..
Saw some of these on bobcats in downtown ottawa. Really slick setup
@Zeengai You obviously don't live in Canada. These guys are based in Ontario and they've sold over 5000 already, so I'd say it's a damn good idea

At last something I've been looking to see made!..in Canada! Great!

che figata di lama! Si troverà anche in italia?
@CATZR600BRAAAAAP We own one of these blades - the end flappers. Its a 4000 seriers blade. We use a snow blower aswell to keep big snow piles clear.
Excellent! Im sure this thing is not cheap!
this is exactly what I need!! too bad Ill never be able to afford it lol. Ill stick to my 250$ used crappy ol plow tyvm
I Wish I had that when I was doing snow removal !
Remember the years they hauled the snow to the freight yards, loaded train after train of open hopper and gondola cars with snow and gave orders "Head South". lol One year a 24-7 plow /loader operator went berserk and plowed over countless cars in revenge. :>)
Looks great, but just seems like more stuff to break in the middle of a storm.
Мои боковины тоже хороши, производительность уборки повышается до 3-х раз.
Awesome snow removal equipment,,HLA has some kick ass snow plows and snow wings....imagines removing 20 feet of snow in one shot?
@hayarradumbass It's "related video syndome", when you end up watching weird related videos which aren't actually related haha.
That's just too cool. Do you make anything for F-350 4x4 ?
My landscaping company is still waiting for you guys to make these for a pickup truck an F250 or an F-350 and up come on you guys
@dawser19 Considering they are made in Ontario Canada and they have over 5000 units out already I say your wrong.
this would work good for us up here in guilford new york.
How much do they cost?
How did I get here?
Nice but there's no snow where I live.
its incredible
@skalesrider can you explain?

it has a diverter valave and only requires one set.

In China they would use 50,000 Chinese coolies with plastic snow shovels.
"Maximum width maximum width" SAUCE BOSS! BACON STRIPS! This guy stole from epic for SURE!
i need one

HOW MUCH?????????
Now let's go out and play
how are your florida sales going :)
I don't like it when it snows on cold days, so I only push snow on warm days in Florida with my leggo set.
is remote included?
I'd think more of it if the snow was a wet snow.

I don't mean to be a nitpicker, but you guys missed a spot during plowing
