    This is amazing! Can you please do an analyse of the Balenciaga (Balloon, Cocoon) dress that Sunny Harnett worn for Vogue in 1952, photo taken by Richard Avedon?

    I liked the last one, and wondered if you could just sew a strip of fabric over the top , but it wouldn't be shaped.

      You totally could and even make it shaped, I would draw the exact shape which works for you on the actual dress to work out how wide you can make it while stay flat.
