Leaving Breaks for Red River Gorge | Angels Windows Arch & Trail

RVA Hiker Girl and I packed up from our stay at Breaks Interstate Park (on the border of Virginia and Kentucky). We headed to Red River Gorge in Kentucky for the annual RRG RUclipsrs Meet-Up. Our first trail was to see Angels Windows.

Thanks! The bus driver's wife, Jennifer, said we just HAD to stop by the Rhododendron restaurant to see the view from the deck before we left. We were glad we did!

Aww I’ve eaten quite a few Russel Fork Burgers on that deck! Nice that you got to check out Breaks. Isn’t it an awesome place. I love it there. The park itself is awesome and its a good base for exploring the surrounding area. The Angels Window is a cool hike at RRG. Awesome that you got to link up with RVA Hiker Girl too.

@@icebearhikes I been going to the Breaks for over ten years. Never gets old. I usually camp in Campground B, I’m just used to it lol. So many cool things on the park but also in the surrounding area, both sides of the state line. Kind of an off the beaten path area which is my forte.

I know I didnt see all those rocks the way that we went in. Of course it wasnt this year.
This was Angels Windows Trail. We decided to see some arches before we hiked up to Hansen's Point.
