@tls4022 They were lovely people I wish them all the best, a lot more clients, success, health, happiness. HOWEVER their art is comaprable to a 2nd grader's work. I am shocked what low talent pool Americans have. Its just crazy to me, NOT ONE had even implemented the most basic foundation in drawing, the anatomy of all works was so WRONG and no one knew how to even do the simplest shading techniques. So on one hand we have AI GARBAGE SLOP and to counter it we have AUTHENTIC REAL GARBAGE SLOP.....I guess real artists are nowhere to be found in america.

The first woman’s face looking like her heart sank when you mentioned the price. She looked like you were going to say it was too much and she probably thought she was going to have to give another piece away for free and knew she couldn’t afford it. She probably spent all night long on that piece and stayed up half the night to finish it doubting herself the whole time, but shook it off like it was nothing.

As a former Graphic Designer, I just want to say thank you, Steven. It means a lot to see that they’re still creating art and keeping the passion alive. After 20 years, I had to step away and shift into other ventures. Yeah, it wasn’t an easy decision. The truth is, it’s really tough right now to be a Graphic Designer… or an Artist at all.

For those of us who aren’t fond of AI-generated art (myself included), support real artists! Local ones, global ones, big and small. Smaller creators especially need our love, because getting recognition is already tough, and AI-generated art can make it even harder for them to shine. I’ve personally supported and purchased work from artists of all kinds, and I encourage you to do the same. This goes beyond visual art because any creative deserves support: musicians, writers, animators, ect. Keep human creativity thriving!

@OvejaGD AI can only get better by training on human made art, it can only stylize by being trained on existing styles as it cannot invent its own style.
Corporations who advocate for being able to train on other peoples work also complain when other corporations train on their work (OpenAI complaining about Deepseek being trained on ChatGPT) which is hypocritical.
@Thesamurai1999 art is about skill and putting a story or memory on paper, ai just does nothing and the sellers take all the credit for wording a prompt correct

I miss when people used to make videos and content about having fun and spreading kindness! Steven over here is showing us what life is truly about. Spreading kindness to people in today’s age is rare and good to see. I remember growing up and my mom always told me be kind to others even if they aren’t kind back, never stoop to their level and keep being you. She died of cancer in 2023 and I’ve missed her every single day because she was the brightest soul I’ve ever met. No matter what happens in my life and no matter how much I get bullied I continue to spread kindness out there because we’re losing that!

Im only the first artist in but her saying she under sells herself because there are mistakes in there. To me that is part of art. I've had teachers and friends rho are leaps and bounds better than myself say art work is never truly finished there's always something the artist could or wants to fix. Even if she upped the price to 40 or 50 shed get closer to her worth but still feel she's not "ripping people off". I'd love to even be a touch of her skills.❤

I work more than 40+ sacrificing days off just to make sure everything is paid and taken care of. It's a hard job but I do my best

Some of these are just....not good. I appreciate the sentiment of supporting artists, but I can't help but be annoyed that he set out to make this video, and the artists he ends up giving the money to make some very mid stuff that doesnt even look like the people they're supposed to be drawing.
@SnackPatrolpeople start somewhere and you can only do so much with some art syles. Sometimes you mess up and you cant afford to start over. If you ever have kids enjoy the progression art in highschool art shows!

I literally smiled the whole way through.
When I first started illustrating commissions back in 2006, a dude from a marketing company hired me to draw a mascot for some noodle brand. I did the drawing and charged him a price. When I went for the meeting for the approval, he asked me why I charged what I did and I explained to him that I was new and it was my first mascot design etc and he was like, yeah but we hired you and we saw in your portfolio the stuff we were after, and this is a mascot that will go on advertising and packages, so here's your money. And it was heaps more than what I charged! I still see that dude around and I was lucky to enough to draw some children's book that he was an art director foe recently and I love how much he appreciates art and my art still. That dude made me look at my work in a different light. Don't sell yourself short artists!
Also, that First Lady "Everybody should enjoy some art" is so real.

My brother draws a lot of drawings.
I started supporting him like buying him pencils and colours those things are expensive.He drew cartoons and he enjoyed drawing them so I supported the cause .Now I am amazed he can draw anything with so much detail.
I am proud of him but I am also sad that artists live such difficult lives not all of them reach greatness and there is no scope in my country and sooner or later he will have to give up on it.

9:50 in high school I was sent to alternative ed. We got to work in shop and that’s where we learned about tools and crafts. One thing we learned was wood burning. There was a pen you can plug into the wall it’s like a screwdriver 🪛 with tips that can be switched in and out for finer or wider tips. It’s almost as easy as writing with a real pen. It’s fun and therapeutic you can really see art come to life. It’s something I wish I had continued to do outside of school.
