@@ramirosanchez7878 that's why Demanufactured stood out amongst its industrial peers. It didnt have that Ministry, KMFDM, Ugly Mustard sound. It was different in it's own way, something you could tell was definitely their own sound.
I saw them as support for Skinny Puppy on their last tour. Sara, the lead singer, has an incredible amount of energy. She's very different from how most industrial singers approach the stage.
How I wish Rhys and Devin Townsend would do a project together now (Yes there was the little bit of work on millennium), it would be an eargasam I'm sure!
When I was a kid and listened to Fear Factory I was blown away by Demanufactured and Obsolete. I always hoped for an animation concept of Obsolete. Telling the story that the album told. I would always visualize this awesome animation in my head while listening to it. It really captured my imagination then. Took me into a whole different world. No other album did that for me. I loved Fear Factory back then.
Dude, i completely agree. The obsolete album had full potential to write a type of dystopic script over any media. I personally picture edge crusher being like rob roy mcgregor meets magnus robot fighter.
Thanks for reminding me of my Uni.days and playing this kind of music so that people would leave me alone so that I could work; only to lure in my hunky Better Half.
Besides Obsolete, probably my favorite Fulber remix production (I'm not sure if Bill was involved or not) is this song ruclips.net/video/svNSJc8QnrA/видео.html It's so heavy!
Hey Rhys Fulber! Who did the mastering of these albums as well for skinny puppy? Who ever did the mastering totally sucked. Clipping and or very low sound levels.
Symbol of Life is shamefully underrated, it's actually the last PL album I entirely love. Perfect mix between their electronic experimentations of Host and their metal roots. Didn't like their comeback in pure doom metal, they lost their best songwriting after Symbol of Life, in my humble opinion, except for the song "No Hope in Sight" which is phenomenal.
Rhys Fulber is an industrial legend.
Demanufacture, still the best FF album and best industrial metal, followed closely by Obsolete
Starfire Technology you’re not wrong, but Strapping Young Lad’s City and Alien stand shoulder to shoulder with those FF records. :)
Ministry: Psalm 69, Mind:TTT
Red Harvest: ST Gloria Mundi, Internal Punishment
Godflesh: Selfless, Merciless are better than Demanufacture
🤷🏻♂️

I prefer Remanufacture.
Makes me happy that he mentioned Caustic Grip. Such an amazing album!
Never heard of Youth Code, good to hear an industrial band that actually sounds like industrial

THIS man is the one who dragged me kicking and fucking screaming into industrial metal. I have never looked back.
Obsolete is my favourite record ever and a big part of FF's appeal for me has always been fulbers' production.
How I wish Rhys and Devin Townsend would do a project together now (Yes there was the little bit of work on millennium), it would be an eargasam I'm sure!
I didn't realize until a few months ago, but Dev actually does backing vocals on Symbol of Life too!
What an idea! I will dream about this.
so glad Youth Code got a mention.
So this is the genius behind FF!!! Nice, never met him before!
Symbol of Life is such an underrated record from PL. Love it!
Yes, great record. Each song is brilliant.
I see FF, I click. FLA is exelent! I wanna hear more FLA and Conjure One!
Demanufacture was huge for me for a kid!
Obsolete was great too
Obsolete was good but it’s not even in the same universe as Demanufacture. That album still can’t be touched, a true masterpiece
The 'Fear is the Mindkiller' EP was groundbreaking...
I completely agree, and it's in my collection.
Love him to produce Depeche Mode, get them back on track.
Excellent Idea, this needs to happen
@StuartWhibley... fcukin' GREAT call !! Would definitely love to see this take shape, somewhere down the road.
That would be perfect
I've been wishing for this since the mid 90s when Alan left. The last properly produced DM album is Ultra.
@martingore
So that's why is Demanofacture is so awesome.
Total legend, one of my favorite musicians
This man was a Pioneer of Metal today 🤌 👏
Great! Met Rhys on the FLA Tactical Neural Implant tour. Cool guy.
I've heard of him since early 90's but first time seeing him. Way cool!
Rhys Fulber there's only 1⃣ ! Thank you so much for your career we still enjoy !

@@te9591 edge crusher was a black guy in the film clip.
@@mikespearwood3914 yes, I remember. Also the oppression point and fear factories inclusive message.
I used to read along to the Obsolete lyrics and imagine this awesome story in my head when I was like 9.
@LilSeizures why 9?
Rivethead for Life!🎹🎧💀💫😵 BrAp oN!!¡!
brought back so many memories with demanufacture album.
Yeah Demanufacture!!! \,,/
Caustic Grip is one of my favorite albums of all time!
He should produce Code Orange!
His song "silence" with Sarah mclaughlin is a singers club classic!
You always know things are about to get heavy when it comes on.....
The unofficial 5th member of FF.
Caustic Grip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best FLA record, killer stuff!
fuck yeah!
Very insightful and interesting! Thank you for making this video.
That was very informative. I love Obsolete, and I bring it out quite often to listen to.
This dude is too chill
He's Canadian haha
I have to admit, FLA Implode album has really much influenced my 20ies. Fantastic work with sound.
Yeah, Youth Code!
Youth Code is the best industrial band hardly anyone's heard of.
Fuck yeah Paradise Lost
Visionary producer, he rules
Thanks for reminding me of my Uni.days and playing this kind of music so that people would leave me alone so that I could work; only to lure in my hunky Better Half.
I still play this music, some of it will always be AWESOME.
I still love Blood Stained remix from Mnemic!
Legend 🤘🏼
Please edit your description to Paradise Lost. Otherwise great interview of an amazing producer...😉💀🖤
Suprised he didnt mention Tactical Neural Implant tbh.
Rhys is the fuckin man! 😁
Best album metal all times.
I would like to hear some background info on the soundtrack of Quake III Arena.
caustic grip gets played in Albany West Australia 2020
Part of a small elite among the progressive part of humanity
Fla Civilization/Fallout was amazing
Shit... I wanna make a record with Rhys...

Omega over SunSyn. All hail.
Caustic is the best album made

Pararise lost lol

I thought fear factory was great but know i think is shit, specially when they sounded the way they did because they paid Fulber.
