I totally understand about the sog hair. I had a 225lb English mastiff that I miss so much. But a year after he crossed the rainbow bridge I am still finding hair in place.
Im so sorry for your loss.💔 Maybe those hairs are his little ways of saying "Im ok mom"
Use SOS pads on your oven .. it always works for me!! If it really bad I do use a little Ajax or Comet 😊

Whew!!! That was a lot of work especially if you’re not feeling your best. You got the whole place nice and clean and tidy and it looks great. I would love to know why you didn’t pick up that little basket of toys that Kolton kept dumping and put it up above his reach?? He’s a little stinker that’s for sure. But oh so cute. When do you think you’ll be able to get your flooring? It’s just going to look so nice and feel great under foot. Are you guys getting together with the rest of the family for Thanksgiving and Christmas? Loved your pants, you looked so nice in them. Well gotta go. Take care 🦃🍁🍁🦃☺
You know....i didnt even think about putting that basket up🤣🤣 looks like we will be able to get the flooring about March or April! Its definitely going to make the house feel much more comfy. I cannot wait!
We are going up to quitman to spend time with my dad and grandma. Maybe next year we will be ready to host!

Hi, I was wondering if you painted your floor. It looks nice.
No, It is just plain old concrete, but over time it picks up the oils from our feet and the dogs too likely and actually starts to look prettier.
Lindsey,I can’t believe that I have never commented on this before,since I’ve been watching your channel from it’s beginning. The first time I saw you clean by moving something,vacuuming and then immediately mopping the area, I was gobsmacked! I was so impressed by your efficiency! (And we had a cleaning business for as long as you’ve been alive.) I’ve since watched other cleaning videos and just roll my eyes when they pull out all of their bar stools,sweep,replace the chairs,and then two minutes later,pull them out again to mop!!!😖😵💫😵🫢 You keep on doing you!👍

Does your oven have a self cleaning option? Use that, it really works well. And according to the manufacturer, they say not to use ‘chemicals’ to clean the oven. I use this option and only put it to clean for 2 hours…once it’s done and cooled, just wipe up the bottom of the oven. I usually do this at night.
It does, but i'm being a chicken. I have never had a self cleaning oven and I'm scared of setting the house on fire.

tried that baking soda hack and it didn't work. unless you scrub yourself senseless it don't think it will work....I resorted to old fashioned easy off oven cleaner....I also buy these tin foil sheets that sit in the bottom of the oven, I have an electric and i put it under the element, catches all kinds of drips....
For some reason it says not to use foil in there? That certainly would be easier cleanup
i know and I do it anyway and as long as my tin foil pan is UNDER my element it is fine, I change it out regularly.... i think if you had a lot of grease in the foil it may catch fire, but it would anyway if there is a lot of pooled grease....@@HomesteadHomemaker
Girl you can make anything you want, coffee table, a big wall unit you can do it. Just buy a big sectional couch and that’s all you need. You can also built something for the entry way and that’s it 👍🏻☺️

Great to see you back with a great long video!! I think you should absolutely make your own table, you built a house!! You can handle a table. I guess your oven is not a self cleaning one, I used to use a sos pad, once it's wet and soapy you can put plastic wrap over it so it stays moist, let it sit and see how it does but the plastic wrap is the key. Your kitchen looks amazing and YES please film when you do the other house...
It is self cleaning.....but i'm scared. What if it burns the house down.😂 The instructions with the over specifically said not to use steel wool, or I would have already had that fixed up. I will try the plastic wrap with some soap and/or a little vinegar baking soda.

I had to come back to finish watching, so relatable please tell me why they gravitate towards the toys even more so when they see us organizing them 😂😂. I also vacuum my husky mixed with German shepherd 😂 he sheds like crazy. He enjoys it. Im cheap too 😅i tell my husband hes lucky 😂.Thanks for sharing Lindsey! Definitely need all the motivation!

I love your little coffee table and I love the idea that you want to l-shaped sofa and a table behind it that would be nice by your entryway you always have such a good ideas and your other house I hope y'all are fixing it up for when guests come they can sleep over there cuz it's a nice house I love it❤😊
We have a lot of work to do over there before it would be ready for guests. Originally it was going to be for storage and a little guest house. Probably will eventually, but it may be a year or so before we get back to actually replacing floors/part of the porch roof.
Love the new house but miss the old. Yes take us along to revisit it while you tackle cleaning it. ❤

Spray straight vinegar on top of baking soda it will bubble up let it set for a while and then wash it off with hot soapy water.
Maybe I shouldn't have left my oven light out. i think it dried out to quickly.

That is an amazing deal for a king sized bed!! May have to have hubby build us one, one day! Colton is so adorable!! So for the first clean I would suggest using easy off fume free with seran wrap placed over the top even tho it still has an odor and wear a mask while doing so which I'm sure you know 😅. 2nd thing that works amazing is the blue soap pads BUT idk if it would scratch your oven so maybe not. For an all natural I'd suggest something I actually googled lol never tried Directions: Stir together vinegar and cornstarch, heat until thickened, cool to room temperature. Apply to oven, let sit for 20 minutes, wipe clean.

Of course I save spaghetti sauce jars! Who’s judging?! Especially the square ones with the measurements on the sides and the black lids! Who on earth would throw those away!?!? So what finally happens when I get too many (and actually only reuse one) is that I give a bag full to my friend who cans and freezes and we all feel better!🙌🏻🤭😬😂
Jay says I can't save every jar...unless I have a use for it....I have since made them all drinking glasses 😂

Maybe your asking the wrong kids. It could be the biggest tallest kid in the house. Looking in the mirror while you brush your teeth instead of bending down by the sink can cause that!

Jay would never get spit on the mirror....he would however leave his little beard hairs all over the counter.😂
I know nothing cleans the oven except good hard elbow grease and S.O.S.

On my oven I use the pink stuff or the scrub daddy paste with a scrub daddy. Sometimes I use my steamer first to loosen things up.
Also I have a scraper that has plastic blade to help no scratch paint. I got mine from Temu.
Didnt even think of a plastic scraper🤦♀️. I need to look into a steamer and ill pick up some pink stuff next time i go to the store!
I save jars too! In the bathroom some of the spots on the mirror could possibly be from when people take a shower/ bath. I get spots on my mirror and I'm not spitting on my mirror😂 I have 3 cats at the moment and I have a shark vacuum with the canister like yours and it fills up fast and I only have 2 rooms to vacuum!

Maybe get an air filter will help.
Our HVAC system has 2 and the filters get cleaned every month. We have a rock quarry close and i really think thats the source of the excessive dust
Oh forgot… lol. That’s NiNi! I was going to also say that Briar sheds horribly but he’s so seeet! He just won’t let me vacuum him. I literally vacuum every day (living room and kitchen) because between them and Marty.. oh gosh! Sunny girl leave little hair balls for mama to find. 😂 Our boys were never as messy as Marty and the fur babies. Idk maybe I just forgot. I was a lot younger tho! 😂
