What my static ended up doing for Quad Cross that worked really well: DPS in first at inter-cardinals Swap places with Utility partner - DPS moves to out-cardinal, utility moves to in-intercard This results in the safe spots being on the cardinals for both repeats
So - tanks/healers on ABCD and DPS on 1,2,3,4 - DPS get hit by first cardinal at their numbers, then move to letters, tanks/healers move to where DPS was, get hit by 2nd attack, then stack with partner - that how my prog group is ding it
Couple of suggestions; Mouser - it is easier so stand NE and SW at the beginning of a cast and only look at a floor when there is around 70% boss cast bar is filled. Whan platform will glow red from 70% to 100% will be one that will be destroyed. This way you don't have to split your attention because bursts happen right at that moment. On second "chessboard" platforms our static prefers positioning marked playes a way that cross aoe will always go off on furthest squares (if it's a stun - stand far on intact square. If it's a knockback - stand on far broken platform). This way we have way more space for role cones attacks. But you can resolve knockback inside one square, aiming diagonally from one corner onto opposite, knockback is fixed distance
omg my static was having such a hard time on Raining Cats with hector's strat. wiped so many times. Tried mr. Happy's and no one died and we cleared first try (with mr.happy's strat!) not sure what kept going wrong with hector's but so glad this one worked!!
Only mechanic I really struggle on is the Predacious Paw, so tomorrow we're gonna try it this way to see if it helps. I struggle with that one in normal anyway so I'm not surprised I still struggle with it.
On second nine lives, Mr. Happy suggests to pull the boss to where the next clone will do their attack. How do you know which of the two clones she will do first? It seems completely random in all my pulls, she'll do either one no matter which AoE she does first.
This was a very fun first turn to clear! Definitely easier than most but that is definitely not a metric of a good fight Im personally not a big fan of the same bait strat for quadruple crossing. In pf its been hit or miss on people remembering to bait the same areas
Pf being hit or miss on the not standard part of a strat but a fault of execution. I think same side is great cause of the reduced movement and the fact it provides consistent spots for the buddies/stacks.
These strats are already out of date lol. Same baits are superior to in-out. You don't need to pay attention to the clone during mouser at all, you can just stand in the diagonal corner of an unbroken tile and if she launches you, you can land on the same tile. The party adjusting around to not get hit by the cross AoEs is completely trivial and even the worst pf parties had no trouble doing it. Best Raining Cats strat, though. I also agree that boss relative is far superior to true north, and I wish everyone and their grandmother would abandon true north
Maybe boss relative is better for positionals, but True North is so much easier to keep track of imo. Much easier to track where north is and stay in that position relative to the boss than have to figure out which way she/the clones will be facing after a jump.
@@ALeafOnTheWind42 It's funny you say that, because it's way harder for me to keep track of True North, whereas with boss relative I already know where I'm going, because I'm always looking at the boss.
@@michealwilliams472 Do you play melee? If so, it could be a ranged vs melee thing. For me it's so much easier to quickly look at where the A is and go off of that. I don't even notice which way the boss is facing at any given time

I’ve found that using 4 waymarkers for the Sleepy Cats mechanic is good for making sure PF knows to position off the clone not the boss

Gamer Trick, for the first Nine lives if right is safe first it going be cardinal right, if it's left then it's left intercardinal of the clone.
Much thanks! 👍🏽
thank you for the guide mrhappy 🥰
Great work happy! 😊
Ayyy mister happy guide lets go

Thanks Haps!
I need more friends to run savage with. 😅 I feel like I’m playing this game alone lately. Too afraid to hop in PFer to learn.
Yo no lie, my group has just gotten into extremes and we wanna pop in some savage content as well! Been looking for people! If you're down that is!

She will tether-like the shadow she'll do first.
Boss relative enjoyer gets a like
your videos need diagrams like hector's

@@TheFlu-54 exactly this. you have a lot of time now to stack lp / partner

It's really hard to get people in pf to figure that out tho.

I don't agree true north is easier than br considering how easy it is to get mixed up. Not everyone in pf needs to do what you suggest.
