  • Once the consensus #1 Prospect in his draft class, James Wiseman seems to be in the final days of his NBA career. Largely due to his injury riddled career this far, he's on track to becoming the biggest bust of the 2020 NBA draft.
Do you think Wiseman can bounce back?

Watching Wiseman in those years at the Warriors was wild. It was crazy to see a 2nd pick in the draft look so uncoordinated, one dimensional and lowkey unsure of himself.

Because Kerr won’t play him, he wouldn’t even play Kuminga until now!

Geez, how did a guy so unsure of himself earn $39 MIL already.
By the way, Wiseman has grown an inch since being labeled a BUST.
      LET THAT SINK IN.
Today's fans are soooooo "smart", they label players younger than Traditional Rookies (22) as BUSTS...
BEFORE THE PLAYER HAS EVEN FINISHED GROWING! 🤔🤨

@@DMalltheway Not really. Wiseman got all of the minutes when he was a rookie until he got injured. Honestly, the rookie year was his best opportunity to improve and integrate into his role with the warriors since klay was still out and steph was out. After that injury, it was roller coaster. It seemed like he was either injured, recovering from injuries or integrating himself back into the rotation.

Pistons fan..... not a lot of cause for optimism with Wiseman, but his last couple of games have been decent. He seems like a very genuine kid, I really hope he can turn it around, both for his sake and for ours.

WISEMAN HAS GROWN AN INCH and is now, according to an EXTREMELY RELIABLE SOURCE, a "LEGIT 7'1"?

Wiseman doesn't need to turn anything around.
GSW was ALREADY A DYNASTY... that didn't need to use a CTR much.
OF COURSE THEY DIDN'T NEED WISEMAN!! DUH!
Wiseman was trying to crack a DYNASTY'S ROTATION; not the WIZARDS.

Being drafted by the Warriors must have crushed his confidence and caused him to stunt his growth. He has little room for mistakes in a championship team with high expectations. The pressure was too much. I know his progress is his responsibility but not everyone has the same the same foothold in the nba.

Why would they invest in young talent when their championship core is still there? So your saying they should give up their championship window for a player that barely knows what he's doing when he's on the court. And yes they did trade him cause they didn't have the leeway to invest in young prospects while chasing rings especially raw prospects like Wiseman.

They did invest in young Talent they just didn't expect Wiseman to suck.
When he went to the warriors he was pretty much immediately given a starting position as the Center. But between his injuries and his terrible performance he gradually lost the position to Looney who proved to be the much better option.
Warriors obviously wouldn't trade Curry or Klay and waste their championship window but it's wrong to say they didn't invest in their young talent. They clearly had roles on the team for Kuminga and Wiseman but when they failed to fill them Poole and Looney took those instead
