Thanks @Nelson Oillataguerre and yes totally agree! This is a brilliant ‘going out’ fragrance. Personally I love the entire Portraits range! Have you had a chance to test the new one? Inimitable William
I’ve been trying different perfumes from the portraits collection and I bought Lord George. I didn’t get this Duke at first, as a man I thought “hmm not really for men” but I keep coming back to it and thinking that it smells so interesting. Especially a few hours in. I’m tempted.
I love The Duke. Really unique and feel that it's a perfect rose for a man...nice rose scent but not overtly floral with a beautiful pepper/woody note coming through it; it's awesome. You should test on skin and see how it performs on you. Great to hear from you @RicoFlight, thanks for jumping into the conversation👊🏽
It would be awesome to do a full line up of the Portrait Collection (how amazing would they look all lined up🤩) I've created episodes on the others in my collection: William Penhaligons: ruclips.net/video/kaXMYv42io8/видео.html Terrible Teddy: ruclips.net/video/tYqYqlxWt5c/видео.html Roaring Radcliffe: ruclips.net/video/jlRbfwmQ9Wc/видео.html Great to hear from you @Shahnawaz Niazi, thanks for reaching out
Im searching for a rose perfume that I will adore.. coz it’s mostly mature scent I am getting with rose notes with perfumes lately.. Im torn now between french leather and Marfa to blind buy😅.. it’s fun to watch you guys, it’s like Im watching a talk show or lifestyle show and it’s kind of refreshing to see.. coz I don’t do this kind of review other than do it myself😁
Hey Rein, great to hear from you and thank you for comments. Yes, Tash and I had a lot of fun doing these set of episodes together...we both love perfume so was fun to share. If you’re after a unique rose scent, then French Leather is awesome. It does dry down ‘heavy’ (not a light rose) because it is designed as a leather scent. I find that Maria is beautiful and a lot lighter and white flower (not rosey at all). However if you like a lighter, almost fruity rose, then I would recommend to you ‘Argentina’ also by Memo...this one is amazing!!! All the best, and thanks again for your comments and feedback 🙌🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector ooh I haven’t heard about the “argentina “ one yet.. now Im curious… thanks for your recommendation.. stay safe and All the best as well to you and your channel ☺️
I'm on my second bottle of the gorgeous french leather and I want to switch to something equally as amazing because I want to switch things up as I've been using it daily for the past 6 months. What scent would you suggest that would be equally as beautiful as french leather that would get anyone smelling it go WOW what is that amazing scent?
Awesome to hear from you Sara and yes, I know the feeling about the love for all things French Leather🌹 I find that this fragrance has a wonderful soft, suade leather vibe to it and if this is what you're after then, I would recommend the following: Milano by Fragrance du Bois: glorious fruity opening with a leather vibe. Drys down to a soft leather with fruit components coming through London by Widian: Suede leather with a raspberry touch. The raspberry is subtle and at all stages of the fragrance never exceeds itself over the leather scent. Really impressive fragrance Oud Satin Mood by MFK : Now this one isn't a leather fragrance but it does have a slight oud touch which brings a new dimension to your perfume wardrobe. The magic comes from the Rose and Vanilla combo in the drydown. This is a "to fall in love" fragrance. Really gorgeous. Hope that helps Sara! Good luck and if you settle on something, would love to know💫 Thanks again for reaching out and jumping into the conversation
Yes, good call! Really love Argentina (plus it’s my birth place!) so yes I will do this. In fact, I would love to do a deep dive into a few of their fragrances as they have some extraordinary perfumes. If you like rose, and some modern twist on this floral note, have you tried: - Zaharoff Signature Rose (incense rose) - Sohan by Penhaligon’s (spicy rose) - Ismail Efendi - Anka Kus (ambery sweet rose) Great to hear from you @FFR07👊🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector thanks for your recommendations, I have not tried those, but making a note to smell them when I get a chance. Look forward to more of your videos!
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I think you are doing a great job with the length of the video.. no need for change in my opinion. Just smelled French Leather today. 😍😍😍 Oh my. So sexy and elegant and somehow fresh and sparkling. I think a full bottle may come home with me soon …
This is everything that you just described🧡🌹 So happy that you've discovered this fragrance Anna! And yes, I think you're right😎
The Duke I think is better than Royal Mayfair by Creed
Yep, I would have to agree with you Ashley….The Duke, is way better♥️
