ELO Part 2 were very under-rated by the record buying public, their songs were a refreshing change from those of Jeff Lynne. ELO Part 2 were a democratic band allowing all the members to contribute to the band's song writing, they created songs that were multi-dimensional and varied. ELO under Lynne's leadership was a dictatorship, Lynne wrote almost all the songs, the band members were classed as hired hands, proof of that is the way Lynne treated Kelly Groucutt. R.I.P. Kelly.
