I really like the color I'd like to see it on the Mazda3 hatch. I also like the platinum quartz Mazda color too.
Seldom mentioned is that the back seat reclines in the CX70...this can make for more a comfortable seat change on trips...the thrid row in the CX90 is not comfortable for adults and compromises storage...CX70 offers hidden compatments for valuables that may otherwise be exposed or just rattle around...why give up those CX70 features for those who may never use a 3rd row? For safety sake, I would prefer children under my care to ride in the back seat rather than the third row...and SAFETY in an accident is one of the reasons moms prefer a larger/heavier vehicle. Finally, the lack of a third row provides an excuse not to ferry around someone else's kids and become exposed to complicated legal issues in an accident...and that, today, is HUGE.
I believe it's identically priced trim-for-trim in the US and offers more standard tech, but has fewer overall trims available. So it has a higher starting price because there is no 'Select' trim.
That’s odd that it cost more to remove the 3rd row seat (sound was fine for me)
On top trim for PHEV with 12.3 inch center screen Apple CarPlay is touch screen. The setting to turn it on is hidden 5 menus deep or so, under Bluetooth pairing settings for your iPhone in the infotainment.
Trim specs are different in Canada versus the USA. It seems like Canada only gets “Touchscreen Centre Display for Apple CarPlay/Android Auto” capabilities on the Inline 6 Turbo Signature trim.
@@andrewharris-schulz356 wow. And in the US the PHEV's tail lights don't illuminate in full length even on Premium Plus trim. I really wonder who came up with this segmentation of features...

Love Maxdas but their prices are getting in to BMW/ Benz area. I will say these new Mazda SUVs are just as nice if not nicer sooo i guess they are worth it
You’d need to spend $75k on a BmW x-5 to get comparable features.

Mazda is cheap luxury. Everything feels cheap. I have owned 4 Mazdas. Used to love them. But my 2020 Mazda cx-5 and my 2021 Mazda cx-30, both platinum editions, feel so dang cheap. I hate it. I will never buy a Mazda again. They look great, feel cheap AF. Do yourself a favor and go Toyota or something
