Young man, you are far better at camera work than I am in my video's. The paint looks a better shade now it's dried. Like you said before, it dries a bit darker which I have found is the case with some paints. I only use paint that requires either white spirit or xylene as thinners. The latter dries in a few minutes and is dust dry in around 50 seconds.
At the beginning of March I bought a Sealey HVLP SSG501 spray gun (off Amazon) but it didn't turn up so I bought a Draper HVLP spray gun from my local engineers supply. Straight from the box, no adjustments it did a great job. Then yesterday the Sealey HVLP turned up. I haven't used it yet but it is no where near the build quality of the Draper which surprised me, but then again it was 1/3 of the price. No point me buying a DeVilbiss yet though.
    Window mechanism's are a pane!
    Pun intended!

      Cheers Jon,
You can get good results from cheaper spray guns I have a £30 draper I use for chassis paint and to be honest it's not a bad tool I also use a £80 devilbiss flg5 for primer and top coat again with good results you don't have to spend silly money but the devilbiss gti pro lite is more versatile with a wider range of caps and nozzels for different paints and finishes but isn't essential for a DIY one off job. 🙂👍

Do you know the name of « this stuff »? I need to put my windows back on, and I can’t find the product!
