You’re right on the money. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about neo soul & how as much as I love Cleo sol and others like her, it sucks that yt ppl are are the headliners of such a traditionally black genre. I hate that when we want to hear black neo soul voices we either have to look to the past or listen to our favorite underground artists.
