I’ve been putting off my next stage of mod’s as my new “Sport Cup 2” tires are stickier than “Super Sports” I had, but w/ my mods I’m making 800 HP and it’s spinning like crazy. I don’t want what I had with my Camaro ZL1 which had too much power and it was pointless as even with drag radials on street it would spin in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear so street driving was no fun.... I’m ordering R888 now - my issue is my Z06 Corvette is 345 25/20 tires... Toyo does not make those but I think I can go 335 or 325.... Thanks sir! FYI: BEAUTIFUL car... Probably one of my top 3 mustang’s I’ve ever seen as the curves are all in the right places and go together well. I also would have NEVER choose that color, BUT - I think it looks awesome on your car. You clearly have a better eye than me!

Didn,t get into the rev limiter that I could see.I could not come near that hook in my 620rw Terminator,running 275 G-Force drag radials at 28 pounds on the street.Second gear 40mph stomp would put me sideways and into the 7500rpm revlimiter in a flash.Love the look of those meats.
The little circle dot on the side of a new high performance tire is where the Valve Stem is supposed to line up, the tire manufacturer does that so you can get a better balance. Raise of hands if you actually knew that ? Cause they didn't line them up here.

Don't drop it too low! You need room for the car to squat down when doing pulls, especially if you plan to take it to the drag strip when that opens it'll squat more. Any plans on a fuel system? We got a guy here making factory drop in hats supporting 1100+ on the 5.0s, he hasn't found the limits of them yet

Oh, as for the oil catch can, the reason the drivers side never has oil in it is because that's actually a PCV intake. Passengers side is where its sucked out. I learned that while ago and it makes so much sense why oil is never in it now. As for why your's is filling up? not sure, might be the actual PVC and not the catch can letting out too much pressure? Good luck on finding a fix, small stuff like that drives me nuts.

I have a 3v 427r with a VMP 500 kit and some secret sauce sprinkled on top. Problem is, I can't do anything but rolling starts for pulls because I have no grip. Tried diff tire pressures... the BF Comp2's on there are pretty much hockey pucks. I need a set of tires like these.

How are you dead hooking with those with that power? I'm making less than you (895whp) and I can't hook 2nd or third gear at WOT with those tires. Are you flooring it or feeding it in? I switched to an 18" et street R and can dead hook from 3rd now but still not second
You need to get a breather catch can design you have a lot of blow by because of your rings probably get it to temp next time before hard pulls or maybe your rings are just too loose but shouldn't be bad at all just get a breather system delete that catch can system out both sides

R888R are a road course, circit track, lap time tire not a drag tire as atated in their own words. Also these work well if used as a drag tire on vehicles over 700 hp.
