Loved Ms. Kazan. Had the whole package. So much charm and sophisticated loveliness. Even an outstanding sense of humor, she was extremely UNDER-RATED.. She should have gone a million miles farther than she did. Bravo and Bellisimo!!
Lainie Kazan costarred with Leslie Neilsen in the 1968 film, "Dayton's Devils." She sang "Sunny" in that movie, and recorded it on her MGM album, "Love is Lainie."
I knew before she was on The Nanny she was famous because she has such a beautiful voice. Sure enough I looked her up and found all these videos of her.

I think Lainie is remembered most for the My Big Fat Greek Wedding films, but she did have a very good singing voice too.
