These Classic Wagons are making a come back big time, People are starting to travel by car again and they are buying up these wagons to do it. I live in the Southwest Triangle (Northwest Arizona, Southern Nevada and Southeastern California and I've seen more and more back on road with families going to Vegas, Grand Canyon, L.A. and Phoneix for vacations and long weekends and all that.
I got a 1987 ford county squire wagon just like that. Love driveing it.
I had a '76 Mercury Marquis Colony Park 9 passenger wagon, loaded with a 460 in it. Damn gas gauge moved faster than the speedometer. Sure was a nice ride though
Hard to believe someone would park a running car like that in a field for twenty years. I have two Crown Victoria wagon's a 1987 with 246,000.0 miles and is my winter car and a 1991 with 10,000.0 miles since a complete restoration. They are extremely well made and dependable cars and should make you a good daily driver when fixed up. Good luck with the project !
It currently is my daily getting 12.3 mpg! Still working on the choke and EGR.
Do the mark vi please
I wish people would stop leaving those early Panther models to rot. They are more valuable than they look.
That’s Clark Grizwald’s car from the vacation movie 🎥
Panther Platform 1979, 1st year for the Panther Platform Ford LTD Country Squire wagon. This Country Squire wagon is built on Ford's very successful Panther Platform.
Magic tailgate
That car is from Canada 🇨🇦 being it has a metric speedometer, kilometers per hour in large numbers, miles per hour small. A friend I know has one. A 1980 model that is built in Oakville, Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 in December of 1979 by proud Europeans from Scandinavia, Ireland, Scottish, English, Welsh, French, German, Italian and Eastern European. Final year, final decade. Interior has a split bench seat, both seats recline, drivers side has power seat, has all the toys and the power windows is the base Interior which has a different power window switch.
Canadian model because of the 351 engine. US models had the 302.
@@edbaczewski2959 I like to go to Canada 🇨🇦 and buy a car with a metric speedometer. I don't mind doing driving a car that is metric. I like to get a Mercury Grand Marquis, Ford Crown Victoria, Chrysler minivan or one of those old late 1970's or mid 1980's full-size GM cars. Would be a fun trip to undertake.
Don't see many of these anymore! I'm surprised that hood ornament is still on the hood! Don't see those at all anymore! Really love that Lincoln close by!!
I ran this car in the Great Beater Challenge 2022. Came in third or fifth depending but someone turned the hood emblem sideways for "aerodynamics" and once I turned it straight it broke off in my hand. Ugh!
In your initial walk-through, and in the interior, it does have an eight track player.
Yes it does.
nice ride...
Thanks ✌️
You should fix the mark vi
you know that the base exact model / year of the grizz mobile from vaction right :)
Yes indeed it is! The Family Truckster!
Wrong. An 82 LTD was used in Vacation.
Best part is that it’s carbureted what else can I say?
The Wagon Family Truckster, you think you hate it now, wait 'til you drive it
C4 transmission
It was but I sold the motor and trans already.
Where’d you find this!?
In the opening scene you see a white squarebody diesel. My friend wanted me to tag along and check it out. I somehow got distracted...
And to where-Millarville AB
You better find the registration incase you get stopped by the police. You are going to need insurance too.
@2:18 Are you blind? It’s clearly a factory AM/FM/8-track.
Guess I am not used to seeing any 8-tracks anymore!
