  • In the second part of MY ABILITIES AFTER SURGERY we look at the differences in the following before and after SDR surgery : standing, movement of ankles & toes, rolling, crawling, walking on knees, and walking. This video was made one year post SDR surgery.
    SDR is a surgery performed on patients with spastic cerebral palsy. It is a surgery where the doctor enters through the spine and cuts nerves to reduce spasticity in the lower limbs. The surgery is used to help people gain greater control of their muscle, reduce spasticity and hopefully gain motor movements. To learn more about SDR please visit the website below:
