Billlie lore actually represents psychological phenomenons disguised as a story about a missing girl. Billlie Love represents the innocence, creativity and light-heartedness that got lost when you grew up and became an adult. Everyone is Billlie, as Billlie represents lost childhood and lost memories. This song in particular talks about two sides of yourself, one that you know and one that you don't know or had forgotten, colliding and "overlapping". Getting to know the old you, having an epiphany, learning more about, and connecting more with the whole you. I think Sheon represents something new happening that made you come to that realization about yourself. Whenever something new happens in life, you can always learn something from it. I think the owl represents wisdom and it gets bigger the more they get to know themselves, i.e. the wiser they get.

You are probably very right for Siyoon (I don't really know for Haruna, she seems to be the one that sees everything but that's all I have), Siyoon was Billlie Love's closest friend, she was one of the only Billlie members that saw Billlie for who she was, she saw what was under her mask you could say. She was also said to be "the Beast" in Ring my bell, the only dark themed B of the girls, like she did something she shouldn't have done.

I'm so happy when I see how much PD appreciates each detail of Billlie's performance and visual work. I loved seeing your insights regarding the lore and how the visual elements play in it. Thank you PD and Blaire
Ah, and one more thing: when talking about Kim Suyeon in the context of Billlie, it's probably best to refer to her by her stage name Sheon (션) because there is already someone else named Suhyeon in the group. Just to avoid confusion.
Hi! My theory about the music video and the lore is that we have two different universes coliding, the first universe is the one we've seen before in ring x ring, gingamingayo and ring ma bell, while this MV opens a new universe (that's why at the end they see themselves) basically the lyrics can be interpreted as the first universe calling the second one asking for help (or taking control over it) to find billie. The logos at the end are the creatures we have encountered in previous videos (the first one is the snow monster from Snowy night, the second the rabbit from gingamingayo, the cat one is from ring ma bell and the last one the owl from eunoia) this creatures supposedly guide us through each part of our journey
I appreciate watching this MV of Billlie's and realizing that the scene where they are staring at the holographic screens some of them are from previous MV's really leading into that multiple universes idea
Billie is like red velvet.. You can't really pinpoint their sound but YOU KNOW their feeling that you get from their music.... Both groups have complex vocals and harmonic charms I can't get enough Also billlie got their first win wit this so I believe everyone feel for their enchantment.... Oh listen to enchanted night from the album FUNKY at its best
I was just thinking the same thing, they're 4th gen RV, they do random funky concepts. Sometimes it hits with me and sometimes it doesn't like zimzalabim and gigagomayo (or what ever it's called), but RV summer songs like red flavor and power up slaps and so does this song
interesting how Blaire described EUNOIA as enchanting and the album has a song called enchanted night, a great word to describe this song and the album too fr
If you like this you have to check out the trailer for this comeback, which is technically also a MV for their b-side Enchanted Night. I think it makes so much more sense when they're put together, what they were trying to do with this comeback. But also so happy you're doing a listening party, this is definitely their best album yet.
I have been obsessed with this whole comeback from billlie! Eunoia is such a fun song and the bsides are insane especially Nevertheless and Enchanted Night.
for me, this song is an entry to the Billlie lore. even the girls has already confirm that this is the past when they first meet Billlie, hence the dreamy like shots in the MV.. The song itself is like a fusion between generic cutesy kpop sound and Billlie.. So for me, the song itself is not really top tier. but the MV itself makes me want to watch it over and over again. Their performance too is pretty damn good so its always worth it watching and listening to EUNOIA.. I like their B-side more, since they are much more experimental and more quirky and more of the Billlie sound. So, have fun when you are doing a listening party of the "Billage of Perception: Chapter Three".. Love the reactions of you two. I really like when people reacting to Billlie because they always managed to confused people everytime.. Always a pleasure watching reactions and then you just geeking out regarding how the shots are taken and the impact to the perceptions of the watcher.. I always get to learn new things when watching your videos, especially when Billlie is involved..
Excellent reaction/analysis. Eunoia is a Greek word expressing a feeling good will and wanting to help others. This video serves as a prequel showing Sheon's first day at the school as a transfer student. One theory is that the creatures are guides that can travel between this reality and the alternate reality of the subconsciousness where our alternative self exists (my B-side). The 4 creatures so far are shown as icons at the end of this video: Snowy Man (yeti), Dreamvader (one-eyed bunny with wings), November (cat) and Glau (the owl). Love your analysis. You go deep on their videos and enjoy them on several different levels at the same time. Can't wait for your reaction to the entire album. It is likely their best yet. No skip and has the B-side of the year for me. 😉
The logos at the end of the MV are animals that appear in last comebacks, bigfoot¿ from Snowy night, the bunny from GingaMingaYo, the cat from Ring Ma bell and now the owl, they might be representations of Billlie, ALSO!! i think the last shot theyre all at Billies house, from RING X RING...
I don't understand a ton about Billlie's lore, but I thought it was supposed to be a representation of the thing that took Billie (the character) away...although it's also been insinuated that the girls themselves had something to do with her disappearance, so it could also represent them now that I think about it.
@@Lucilycheeyeah the girls had something to do with her disappearance because they forgot about her , in other words they made her disappear because they no longer remembered her because Billlie is their Bside , their innocent inner child that they forgot about because they grew up and are becoming adults who are influenced by the world that is fake and cruel , which makes you lose your innocence and good will , so basically it is all a metaphor or idk how to put it , the Billlie girls forgot about another girl who is childhood friend that represent their true selves , them being suspicious because they are responsible for her disappearanc
i didn't know billlie before and eunoia made me listen to everything they did. i like the rock-ish vibes on ring x ring and ring a bell and even though eunoia doesn't make me think of rock (it actually makes me think of LOONA/OEC and tripleS's songs), it's definitely coherent with previous concepts. i'm so looking forward to dive deeper and stan them
Billlie simply sky-rocketed to the top of my favorite girl groups with Ring Ma Bell and EUNOIA, especially on the b-sides is where their music just SHINES, I honestly hope they stick to this funky/disco sound because the bass guitar, the synths and everything is just PERFECT, it's almost as if they were built for this genre of music. I'm not usually someone who dives into lores and stuff I mostly just care about the music side of things, but Billie's one is kinda intriguing, but I'll still let the better suited people brainstorm over it and then I'll catch up to it myself lol. Not to mention they are all literally multi-talented, I highly recommend you also check dance practices of this title track + the dance pracs of the bsides too because they are just unbelievable. I wasn't fully lured in when they released GingaMingaYo but then I decided to dive deeper and listen to their b-sides, and my god I am SO glad that I did that because now im additcted to these girls. (Especially Siyoon, I love her, she's crazy in every positive way that you can describe her.)
Was waiting for this reaction. PD back to their best with top professional experience of film/video production picking up on the techniques and lighting and production and editing.. (The half lit/half dark face lighting technique is Rembrandt lighting. If its from the side its Chiaroscuro lighting.) Been a Belllie've since the start and knew Tsuki/Taru from Magicour. I know the lore, story and aspects of Billlie so its great to hear the production details.. the song just has great rnb/retro funk shoutouts. For the story there are things like - the owl and owl feathers are returning wisdom to the members to remember about Billie? - some items are reminiscent of past videos, like the phone bkground pic of the goldfish - The phone message is "우리 오늘 밤에 보는거 맞지? 🦉🌝" "We're seeing each other tonight, right? 🦉🌝" Tsuki & Haram were meant to meet Billlie . - the meeting of 2 different groups of members, signify either different universes or time travel or the owl allowing them to see what happened to Billlie. Eunoia is "beautiful thinking". Its used with reference for young people and represents a normal healthy state of mind. In Nicomachean Ethics, Aristotle refers to eunoia as the pursuit of the good of all, and the desire for the good of the other person in friendships. Also remember to listen to Haram OST song for Lord of Heroes game "Remember The Days" !!!
Something pointed out on Gingamingayo by some is that it’s very much synonymous of a court room. The bunny being the judge presumably? It could be the owl here(a symbol of knowledge)is a detective of sorts which is why it’s pestering the girls Thinking back to the Snowyman he was a prison guard....these could all be meant to represent some sort of position in the judicial system Wtf do I know 😂
The text message says "우리 오늘 밤에 보는기 맞지?" So basically "We'll see each other tonight, right?" So I'm guessing the call from Billlie was also about them meeting up hence they go through that door at the end. Curious to see where the journey's gonna take us in the next mv 👀
37:25 I managed to zoom in to read the text from Billlie, and it says "우리 오늘 발에 보는거 닺지?", which I'm translating as "We're seeing each other today, right?"
Billlie don't miss and I think it's crazy. One of my favorite songs by them is actually Fl!pping a coin (which is a b-side) so I already have high standards for them and once again, they came back with a banger!!!
From Wikipedia: In rhetoric, eunoia (Ancient Greek: εὔνοιᾰ, romanized: eúnoia, lit. 'well mind; beautiful thinking') is the good will speakers cultivate between themselves and their audiences, a condition of receptivity.
Yeeey! Thank you for always reacting to BILLLIE. I really appreciate your insights, because although I watched this countless times, I don't catch small details untill you point it out.
From what I understand and what I’ve see, they’ve said this song is set on the day billlie goes missing. So the text from her at the start is like they’re excited to see her at school and she maybe doesn’t show up to school that day. I’m every MV there’s been an aspect of some other dimensional monster taking the girls away, that’s what logos are at the end. A different monster every comeback. For ring x ring it was the yeti monster, for gingamingayo it was the bunny monster, ring ma hell was the cat and now the owl. My theory is that these monsters stole billlie away from her friends (ring x ring seems to be shot at a sleepover we can assume at billlies house) and the monsters are coming after the remaining girls who are trying to figure out where she went. That’s my theory. I think eunoia specifically is suppose to be like s really upbeat song that turns sinister at the end to portray the fact that this is the day their friend went missing so thru the song and the mv it gets more sinister and eerie as they realise their friend might not be coming back
I’ve been interested in everything about spirituality and consciousness recently so now Billlie’s lore makes so much sense to me now. Basically them here is when they are WITH their “b-side,” which was sent by the owl most likely (b-side or Billlie is basically your inner child, your inner self). When you heal your inner child, you won’t be criticizing others and yourself anymore because you fully accept who you are thus nothing will bother you anymore, since what we criticize is just a reflection of how we view ourselves (video shows how happy they are, that’s what happens when you’re ONE with yourself). Also, Eunoia is having a well-balanced mind. If you’re ONE with your inner child, you will have a well balanced mind! Then at the end is the version of the members who are not in tuned with their inner self. Basically yeah, it’s like they k-worded their inner child, Billlie. In their previous lyrics from past song/s they talked about maturity. When you become an adult you no longer know what the “right” thing to do because the world is full of criticism and judgement. Thus you k-word (yknow what i mean 😭) your inner child, your b-side. Afraid to show your true side to the rest of the world, afraid to be criticized so you just stay in fear and be like everyone else. So yeah, they represented this in their lore as LITERALLY k-wording their “b-side” (Billlie) - but the girls can’t seem to understand what they did or remember what happened because that’s the illusion when you grow up, that you are RIGHT, that you are better than when you were a child.
Love the energy that comes with the two of your bouncing ideas off of each other! Also, this is definitely one of the better albums from Billlie, I'm still partial to debut era, but this is the first mini they've put out that I am SUPER into every b-side.
Big ups to PixelWave & Youha for their amazing work on the track, and to the girls of Billlie for putting in the work. This is one of the best produced tracks I've heard in a good long while. 👏
Sometimes when trying to decipher the meaning of song, it's useful to know what the title means. Eunoia means "the feeling of goodwill, especially in the case of a performer and their audience". The conspiracy here isn't necessarily maleficent, but instead it's one of trying to bring in cohesion, harmony, unity. The question that remains here is, is that something that's forced on people, or something people have the freedom to choose. In any case, there is a very clear indication of wooing someone, charming them, seducing them, in a way. I don't really know much about the lore behind Billlie, but the idea of pulling the different versions of yourself into one, that kinda reminds me of the Jet Li film "The One", but instead of killing of the other versions of theirselves, they are instead assimilating all of the variants into one, making the whole stronger, than the sum of its parts.
I'm really dumb when it comes to understanding the lore but I feel like Glau (the owl) is trying to help them remember their actual selfs( that's their b side) and get back their memories to go to the real world and help billlie or maybe help themselves...btw you should react to their lore videos/short films🙏🏼
I seriously love this direction they went in with this album. And they do it so effortlessly. Love love it. Also do u think you will be able to react to cignature’s January comeback “Aurora”?

I was shocked to actually see how dark and creepy this mv is as PD and Blaire pointed it out. Overall I'd give this album also an 11/10
this is probably my soty so far, there have been so many good releases this year and omg was my soty up to this point but this song the vocals, and the dance, and the visuals it all just adds up so well. Helps that nevertheless (bside on the album) is sooooooooooo good.

The Gingamingayo and Ring Ma Bell videos both very much remind me of my dreams. I often dream of being in a building where the layout doesn't quite make sense while looking for something... or sometimes being chased by something. Eunoia also has a dreamlike quality, but somehow is distinctly different from those. As for the song, it' has got a feel of being a b-side that they decided to make a title track and I'm all for that... some of their best songs are b-sides.
the figures at the end of their logo are "monsters" from their past music videos: snow man - snowy night, patbingsu bunny - gingamingayo cat - ring ma bell owl - eunoia

Thanks you
The animals do remind you of some fairytales, and Alice in Wonderland, stuff like that. I feel that is intentional as well.
I think Gingamingayo is the another world, bcs the name of the album is different and it seems like the girls didnt know about billie's d34th
This is the song that turned me on to Billlie and this whole album is pretty damn good. Smooth grooves all the way.
Both groups have complex vocals and harmonic charms I can't get enough
Also billlie got their first win wit this so I believe everyone feel for their enchantment....
Other times it's meh or less than average for me like ring my bell and really bad boy
I am not Billlie fan but this song is one of my fav and also all of the bsides of the album. So calming ang magical
Was waiting for this reaction, so happy! Billlie’s music is outta this world! Hands down my favourite gen 4 group!
interesting how Blaire described EUNOIA as enchanting and the album has a song called enchanted night, a great word to describe this song and the album too fr
If you like this you have to check out the trailer for this comeback, which is technically also a MV for their b-side Enchanted Night. I think it makes so much more sense when they're put together, what they were trying to do with this comeback.
But also so happy you're doing a listening party, this is definitely their best album yet.
the album is fire
I SO love this track omg.
I have been obsessed with this whole comeback from billlie! Eunoia is such a fun song and the bsides are insane especially Nevertheless and Enchanted Night.
Eunoia has been on REPEAT. It is so addictive!!!
Big facts
for me, this song is an entry to the Billlie lore. even the girls has already confirm that this is the past when they first meet Billlie, hence the dreamy like shots in the MV..
The logos at the end of the MV are animals that appear in last comebacks, bigfoot¿ from Snowy night, the bunny from GingaMingaYo, the cat from Ring Ma bell and now the owl, they might be representations of Billlie, ALSO!! i think the last shot theyre all at Billies house, from RING X RING...
aslkghcdLAHEklsdfjm that's what the house reminded me of!!
@@formoftherapymedia8921 Yes, Eunoia is a prequel to Ring X Ring
I don't understand a ton about Billlie's lore, but I thought it was supposed to be a representation of the thing that took Billie (the character) away...although it's also been insinuated that the girls themselves had something to do with her disappearance, so it could also represent them now that I think about it.
@@dubblebubbletoilandtrouble6646 you’re rightttt, omg it’s so confusing!! But yes, the girls definitely had something to do with her disappearance 😭
@@Lucilycheeyeah the girls had something to do with her disappearance because they forgot about her , in other words they made her disappear because they no longer remembered her because Billlie is their Bside , their innocent inner child that they forgot about because they grew up and are becoming adults who are influenced by the world that is fake and cruel , which makes you lose your innocence and good will , so basically it is all a metaphor or idk how to put it , the Billlie girls forgot about another girl who is childhood friend that represent their true selves , them being suspicious because they are responsible for her disappearanc
billlie were promoting this song as a look into the day billie went missing, which is really interesting to me
i didn't know billlie before and eunoia made me listen to everything they did. i like the rock-ish vibes on ring x ring and ring a bell and even though eunoia doesn't make me think of rock (it actually makes me think of LOONA/OEC and tripleS's songs), it's definitely coherent with previous concepts. i'm so looking forward to dive deeper and stan them
Billlie simply sky-rocketed to the top of my favorite girl groups with Ring Ma Bell and EUNOIA, especially on the b-sides is where their music just SHINES, I honestly hope they stick to this funky/disco sound because the bass guitar, the synths and everything is just PERFECT, it's almost as if they were built for this genre of music.
I appreciate the title track so much more now. Billlie is art.
I'd love if Moon Sua and Siyoon got a rap subunit.
They're my biases, I want them in a sub unit alongside Tsuki or Haruna or Suhyeon
Like a dance/rap sub unit
Or just general sub unit
Was waiting for this reaction.
PD back to their best with top professional experience of film/video production picking up on the techniques and lighting and production and editing..
(The half lit/half dark face lighting technique is Rembrandt lighting. If its from the side its Chiaroscuro lighting.)
Been a Belllie've since the start and knew Tsuki/Taru from Magicour.
I know the lore, story and aspects of Billlie so its great to hear the production details.. the song just has great rnb/retro funk shoutouts.
For the story there are things like
- the owl and owl feathers are returning wisdom to the members to remember about Billie?
- some items are reminiscent of past videos, like the phone bkground pic of the goldfish
- The phone message is
"우리 오늘 밤에 보는거 맞지? 🦉🌝"
"We're seeing each other tonight, right? 🦉🌝"
Tsuki & Haram were meant to meet Billlie .
It could be the owl here(a symbol of knowledge)is a detective of sorts which is why it’s pestering the girls
Thinking back to the Snowyman he was a prison guard....these could all be meant to represent some sort of position in the judicial system
Wtf do I know 😂
This is WILD 🤯😂 but also presented in a very cute-weird-PG way lmao
Wow , that does make some sense lol , wonder what NovemBer represents
BILLLIE IS AMAZIIING
the album has been on repeat for me
The text message says "우리 오늘 밤에 보는기 맞지?" So basically "We'll see each other tonight, right?"
So I'm guessing the call from Billlie was also about them meeting up hence they go through that door at the end. Curious to see where the journey's gonna take us in the next mv 👀
I'll never understand BILLLIE'S post teasers or credits and youknowwhat; I just don't care because they're f****** awesome in everything they do
37:25 I managed to zoom in to read the text from Billlie, and it says "우리 오늘 발에 보는거 닺지?", which I'm translating as "We're seeing each other today, right?"
One of the most unique sounding songs & albums ever, all of their B-tracks are superior af.
Billlie don't miss and I think it's crazy. One of my favorite songs by them is actually Fl!pping a coin (which is a b-side) so I already have high standards for them and once again, they came back with a banger!!!
Yaaaay I’ve been waiting for your reaction PD!!
I’ve been wanting to get into Billlie and this song finally pulled me in!! 🤗
Eunoia was AMAZING; the album? Beyond words.
I think eunoia specifically is suppose to be like s really upbeat song that turns sinister at the end to portray the fact that this is the day their friend went missing so thru the song and the mv it gets more sinister and eerie as they realise their friend might not be coming back
this cb is amaziiing
EUNOIA's lyrics feels like an anthem for the Human Instrumentality Project seen in Evangelion. If you think about it, makes sense... creepy sense.
The song gets better and better the more you listen to it, it started as a 9 for me but rn it's a 10!
I LOVEEE THIS SONG and it reminds me a LOT of early txt/loona!! I love them sm :D an under appreciated group fr fr
yess it’s filling the early loona shaped void in my heart with boycotting loona’s music atm
@@fallenaster Boycotting Loona's music has been a real struggle haha
@@dubblebubbletoilandtrouble6646 for real😭
Love the energy that comes with the two of your bouncing ideas off of each other!
Also, this is definitely one of the better albums from Billlie, I'm still partial to debut era, but this is the first mini they've put out that I am SUPER into every b-side.
this is my favorite billlie title track maybe tied with ring x ring... but this album is by far their best
Big ups to PixelWave & Youha for their amazing work on the track, and to the girls of Billlie for putting in the work. This is one of the best produced tracks I've heard in a good long while. 👏
AHHHH YOU DID IT OMGGG I was waiting for this
finally been waiting for this
Sometimes when trying to decipher the meaning of song, it's useful to know what the title means.
Also do u think you will be able to react to cignature’s January comeback “Aurora”?
yayy i'm early thank you for this reaction!!! let's go billlie!
i’m glad Sheon didn’t debut in Kep1er bc she fits in Billlie so good 🩷
Youha was one of the writers on this song, hope you listen to her releases as well!
I love this new direction you guys are going in! Blair reacts like the majority of the audience and PD is more technical and more complex in his reaction! I love it and I love Billlie!
The logos at the end of the video are the 'mascot' of the previous mv
Another hit from Billie. Please get your girlfriend a microphone stand, felt bad that she had to hold it all the time. Always a pleasure to hear your take on our favorites. Thank you 🙏
I have the same sentiments as PD and Blaire and I'm so glad that they did this kulture study! When I first listened to this comeback I was very ecstatic and felt blessed on my first listen. I even noticed some minute details that I thought no one would notice but you guys really captured every detail so well! ALSO YES OMG THIS SONG IS SO ETHEREAL, FUNKY, GROOVY, AND VERY GOOD. I was shocked to actually see how dark and creepy this mv is as PD and Blaire pointed it out. Overall I'd give this album also an 11/10
Billlie is not without reason 1 of 2 groups where I just preorder every album because I can trust I'll like / love it.
Who is the other?
@@ilikejosh Dreamcatcher, they brought me to appreciate some K-Pop in the first place.
@Friedensp4nzer understandable. especially because dc album will get expensive FAST
this is probably my soty so far, there have been so many good releases this year and omg was my soty up to this point but this song the vocals, and the dance, and the visuals it all just adds up so well. Helps that nevertheless (bside on the album) is sooooooooooo good.
I really advise everyone reading this to check out Billlie's mini films that accompany each comeback. Even if you're not that interested in the lore itself, they are wonderfully shot and really hone in into the beautiful yet creepy vibe you can get watching this MV !
PD you really should listens Billlie's entire album, you'll love it!
the figures at the end of their logo are "monsters" from their past music videos:
snow man - snowy night, patbingsu
bunny - gingamingayo
cat - ring ma bell
owl - eunoia
Mystic Story's intro sounds like the kind of riff they'd play between scenes on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air
Their bsides are amazing!
My #1 song from them it's actually a b-side
McGuffing Who's The Joker... IT'S A MASTERPIECE
And I haven't listened to the new album....I will check it out soon enough. I bet they'll impress me.
at the end with the different animal logos where from prior mv's. One is the abominal snowman from snowy night mv . One eye rabbit from gingamingayo mv and cat from ring my bell
Blair is so pretty, I love her!! Fili Filop flip flop…🦉
Yay new uploads
What the lighting reminds me of is Cate Blanchette’s character in Lord of The Ring. It gives that soft glow but still maintains high contrast.
the logos are from snowy night onwards ^^
snowy night, gingamingayo, ring my bell, eunoia
I highly suggest checking out the b-sides. Various and Precious is in my opinion the best song in this album
finally ♡
hey this is kinda old but are you gonna do a Listening Party of Billlage Chapter 3?
By the way PD Blaire heads up Youha the soloist co composed both this title track and Enchanted Night one of their bside...
I'd probably never edit a video my entire life but seeing PD dissecting how scenes are filmed, lighs are placed, frames are cut I'm like yeah noted
Very nostalgic style of filter
enchanted night is on repeat since the album came out, even before album came out i streamed the teaser💀. the song is just SSS+ Tier
Blaire is such a sweetheart 💕
2:46 Baby Jiyoon is so cute 5:20 and she destroys the rap parts 😍😍😍
PD Blaire... you missed the book that suhyeon was reading Enchanted Night when they were lying down on the field... it us somewhat related to their lore...
