This is such an absolutely perfect segment. Hank Azaria is great in everything he does. Another winning companion for the show. 👏

( 6:21 ) "... throwing elbows like a young Bill Cartwright..." 👏 Brockmire strikes again! lol As a Bulls fan since before Bill joined the team, this is spot on!

This was freaking hilarious and smart at the same time which is what I love about the humor on this show. This comedy doesn't lend itself to dummies.

I watched this yesterday, hearing the word "Sazerac" for the first time in my life. Later at work, a TV was blaring an episode of The Andy Griffith Show in the background, in which he appeared to be dining at a fancy restaurant. Imagine my shock and surprise when I hear his dinner-date guest on this episode, order a Sazerac ! Twice in one day(!)...for the first time in my long life.....just bizarre ! Damn you Brockmire !

      Brockmire strikes again! lol
But also, you must not be from the upper Midwest. Sazerac is still around in Cleveland, to Grand Rapids, to Chicago, to the Quad Cities ( r. i. p. apartment building in Davenport ). "Sazerac" is a drink, a liquor, and now a brand.

I can't say this is one of Brockmire's best bits. After all, nothing in the bit discussed unusual objects in inappropriate orifices...
But I will say it's one of Brockmire's best CLEAN bits...

The bit is the character "Brockmire". He has been honing this bit about a "washed up baseball broadcaster" now doing... sports and culture analysis, for years, on several shows ( just search here ). Yes, it really is Hank! lol
