Recon class can double the XP bonus from secret mission rations. Wolfs give more XP when killed. CQC kills are worth the most XP (you get more XP for CQC on wolf then from pistol head shot, but normal enemies give more XP when shot). You also get bonus if enemy is not alerted. The best place to farm XP is Golem island. Thera are a lot of wolfs. If you want only to farm XP, turn easy mode, and perk that heal you after CQC kill, you will be almost invincible.
Yo question.. I selected rookie mode, and still I die after getting shot at within 5 seconds.. is there some other setting I need to mess with? The game on easy mode is harder than the hardest mode in far cry 5/6.. feel like I’m missing something
As I got older, I began to tire of XP as a concept. It‘s just a number-go-up Skinner Box video game cliche that carries no meaning for me anymore. I was glad to see that, thanks to Immersive Mode, Ghost Recon Breakpoint could be played without any attention being given to levelling. Kudos to the Ubi team for doing that. But if you want it, it‘s there.
Yea agreed. I really give zero fucks about ranking up, but because we need to in order to get stuff, it's like unavoidable lol. I wish we could just unlock things by playing through missions. I'm gonna explode into a rant if keep thinking about this lol.
Specifically in this game it is such a pitty for established players. I was maxed out at XP lvl. 30 way back last year during main story. Played through all DLC and events and suddenly with motherland they implemented so many more lvls (I think till 80) and upgrade abilities. For new players it might be fine. But I only made it to 54 after motherland and wont have access to some guns and other content if I don't go on a grind just for the grind which I wont do. But yeah. I truly love Breakpoint and that they kept improving it. So no real rant on my behalf.

To your last point, I wholesale agree. Ubisoft burned the midnight oil with their updates and patches. Breakpoint is, for all intents and purposes, fixed as far as I am concerned. However, I wanted more narrative depth with Motherland. I was disappointed that Conquest Mode was divorced from Story Mode. But I get why they did it. This is what Ghost Recon is about - tactical shooting. If you want RPG and story, go play another game.
Well said... I bought one of the special edition versions long after launch when they added 60 fps, immersive/ no hud, and got all DLC. Best $25 I've ever spent. Didn't buy at launch because of that gear score garbage. If I wanted to play the Division, I would. Glad they reworked the game. I feel for those who bought at launch and we're turned off. It really is a different game than during beta and launch.
Its pretty much implemented to pad out play time. Just a wild idea, design the game first with no leveling in mind then add it later of it fits into the design.
Run echelon class with pistelero and you get even more XP. Also run blue gear as it comes with XP bonus, 5% on clothing and 20% on weapons. Harder difficulty also gets you more XP. Run it all and get in excess of 500XP for cqc etc. 8000+ for behemoths. Basically use your chosen class’ perk. Special bullets on sharpshooter get 7-800xp per kill too. Pair this with technique cooldown perks.
Gameplay looks like Seal Team Six going into the Bin Laden complex at the beginning. Dope outfits! This games potential is wild if the developers just take the story into a more hardcore scenario.
Discovered yesterday that in the inventory there was HEAPS of stuff i I could sell. Went from 10K Skell credits to 50K easily and was able to get that sweet M110! Might be something players don't know about if they want one of the new weapons quick.
Making videos has slowed my progress down on finishing it lol. Also, trying to play most of it on Extreme difficulty and I need to take my time as to not die and avoid certain engagements because man it gets hard on Extreme
Great video as always. Are you going to do that video I suggested which is the third part of controlling the squad by looking at the control scheme that they used for Rainbow Six: Vegas 1 & 2. Or even how in Rainbow Six i think 3 for the original Xbox you could use your headset to shout Squad commanders that the AI would follow you can say things like "breach and clear" into the microphone and the AI Squad would execute the commands.
I think a part 3 will come yes, and the focus of Part 3 could very well be R6! I have spoken many times on R6 controls here and there but a video directly about it would drive attention to it more so yea I can see that happening in the near future for me. Unfortunately I can't record any OG R6 gameplay because I only have an original Xbox copy and my PC isnt built to run games, so it will be tough getting footage of those controls but maybe I can reach out to you guys to help me gather footage from the OG R6. Instances like this I think a Discord would benefit the channel because it would be easier to crowd source footage to talk about because I know a lot of you guys are able to play games on PC. But yea R6 Vegas 1 and 2 I have no problem recording and plus I think the way those controls are mapped would be perfect. Maybe the part 3 video will be a focus on R6 Vegas squad controls in the first half and then it will finish off with discussing how the 3 games can come together for a nice blend of control. I just use the xp bonus from preparations and use recon mastery and use the drone to mark enemies and well kill everyone, yes it's slower for xp but we'll im not rushing through the motherland. I still wish there was a load system for immersive mode where different armour etc makes a difference to your characters resistance to damage

I'm having trouble with my xp... I have all that you mention including the russian rations... but nothing count as xp ... the xp module don't pop up when I do xp points ... and I have the interface xp module on dynamic... I don't know what else could be... 😢
Might be dumb to ask but how do i farm howard airfield?? I killed everyone went to a skells base killed them and went back to howard but everything is still gone lol… Left to a car meet loaded up breakpoint again and still nothing ?
Bivouac for a 24hrs then go back. OR (this is the fastest and easiest way) Killl yourself with C4 and you will respawn outside of the base with a fresh stock of enemies. If you do this suicide route, you need to still have at least 1 enemy alive that way it resets the enemies. The game will assume you died beause of the enemies killing you, so it will reset the enemies to allow you to try again, but your XP gained remains even if you die. If you C4 yourself after no enemies are left you may not get a refresh of the enemies.

I just restarted Operation Motherland, turned gear level on to equip exp bonus gear. Now i just encounter every base and Mission with a Helikopter and the ai Team with zastavas. As soon as i reached lv 99 i turn everything off again to play regular again. But i think i will have a look, if i can start the secred Mission right now. It i can, i will sit there in a corner destroying one computer and let the ai kill everything. It that works, i will be afk to do some other stuff while levelling up.
Hey man so a few people have asked me over the past couple months that very same question and idk to be honest. I play on Series X, so no mods or anything. Idk if maybe just the recording picks it up like that or if that's just how my game is on Series X. I'm gonna go play now and check to see if it's more orangey when shown on the TV vs how red it looks when the game is recorded. I'll report back.

Ok so I can confirm my reticle is red when I play. I'm not sure why it looks orange for some of you. Perhaps calibrate your tv or monitor settings to adjust the color. If you are on old gen it might just be an old gen issue

Ummmm I wish I knew. I haven't gotten the Russian Ration yet. From what I know, you can craft it in the crafting menu. Wish I could be more helpful here
You need to get a common medical plant, there's only two I believe, and then you can craft them, I would say to use the Pathfinder passive XP boost but it doesn't work with the russian rations. If you can't make them once you have the plants you might have to finish Operation Motherland

Always a good time for me is to turn off HUD, set difficulty all the way up to extreme, turn off health regen, don't use fast travel and just explore the world on foot with your ai squad or with co-op buddies. Bivuac and come up with character looks for certain environments. Getting into long range engagements when you come across enemies. Motherland conquest mode if you haven't gotten to it yet will keep you busy too!

Having to do the same repetitive stuff sucks the fun out of gaming. If they put this stuff behind side missions it would have been a little more creative. Looking at some of the stuff to collect it didn’t seem worth the most valuable thing gamers pay for their reward which is precious time. I’d rather buy stuff tbh then I could spend real hours grinding at work for far better rewards.

Equip your AI teammates with SNR's, they will hit every shot and give you +75 xp using the video tips
