Random Rumble is a pretty fun alternative although the combat is a bit different, only complaint about that game is that people keep voting the same 3 gamemodes over and over again.

Tbh, the IA fangames are really kinda of like the early IA, rough around the edges, pretty scuffed, not many high quality animations, ect. im sure with time IA fangames could be better and im not sure if they actually have a team of people so it would probably take a lot longer. atm they are all like if the suggestions channel from the discord was just put into one game

Asylum rejects is personally (in my opinion (AAAHHHHH AN OPINION!!!)) one of the best ones as it not only is pretty stinkin good on most fronts, it also MAKES suggestions that wouldn't really work well, work or just does the ones the devs didn't wanna do. Just what I think personally and I just felt like throwing my opinion into the abyss of the internet (no clue why I worded it that way lol).

Item asylum is inspired by other randomizer fighting games- AR has a little quirk with the trinkets that give you special abilities. They just need to stop being more like IA.

I am aware they are heavily inspired, but they do not have to be carbon copies. The trinkets in AR are one of the differentiating factors.
