I agree with you. The voice belongs to none other than Mr. Peter Woods.

I thought this sounded like the Railway Roundabout TV series, but some of the shots are too recent for that. A little investigation reveals that the narrator, Peter Woods, also narrated many of the Railway Roundabout episodes when they were released on DVD.

Cant wait for the day when Bahamas is back in traffic on the mainline, first outing she's planned to do over the S&C I will definitely be going out on. Be interesting to see what happens when her loaded test runs are planned too.

@@steamgent4592 yes I would very much also like to see Bahamas on the main line.
Probably stuck at a red signal, that’s another thing that was clearly better organised in those days, signals, signalling express services, regular stopping trains, slow freights, fast priority fast freights, just a better level of service. Lol 😂
Well run efficient service that made profit, moved lots of goods and got a whole Army to Dunkirk.
Now days a few commuters late to work is all too much and the best you can hope for.

@@jamesworsfold5065 yeah there was a different type of men and Railwayman in those days. Most of the Railwaymen where just that Railwayman who came from Railway families and knew how & what needed to be done before they got out of school from their fathers and grandfather's. Like signalmen who had their sons knowing the meaning of the bell codes and which ones to use before they even knew how to read yet lol
