Keeping the specifics of an injury secret when going ahead with the fight made sense... once cancelled, why not divulge, given he will recover fully, so cannot be targetted there? Was there no injury, only addiction?

They, especially Chael, are good for entertainment sometimes, but you can pretty much disregard anything they say about the UFC that isn’t direct fight analysis. They have shown to be entirely unwilling to do anything besides regurgitate company lines and even what could be called propaganda (against Francis for example).
