this was super easy to follow!! this is the first crochet project that ive made where it has zero mistakes in it haha your tutorial was so easy to folllow! i hung it up in my kitchen to hold fruit :) thank you!
This was such a nice and easy to follow tutorial. I really struggle with written patterns for some reason and need to see exactly what I have to do. I am happy to have my little candy basket hanging on the wall beside my bed now :3
I crocheted right along with you ,thank you for sharing with us :) I love it ❤ I used Wool Ease and a bright rainbow multi color together My friend wanted a basket for her squirrel ! A woman found 3 of them on the road last year ,the Mama had gotten hit .. The woman stopped when she saw what happened and all three of the babies ran up her legs ..so she posted and my friend went and picked one up ,she's raised them before so ..he's doing great ! He has a very happy home with plenty of space and he is very loved :) But he will be going into hibernation soon ,he's stocking up So I made a little house for him :) Sorry about the long story lol Anyway thought I'd share that Have a wonderful holiday I wish I could share my pic on here but I dont know how ...
That is a beautiful story! I’m so happy he is going to have a cozy home! The basket sounds so pretty with the yarn you chose! I don’t know how to share photos on here either. But I enjoyed your note! Thanks for sharing!😊
Easy to follow, I like because there's still room to put some stuff, my mainly use is garlic, onions and small things like those. I made it with a type of cord that I don't know the name it looks nice but my hand was hurting at the end 😅
Hey, just followed through on this and it’s lovely, thank you so much for such a great basket. Question; what yarn did you use? I can see that yours is stiffer than mine and I’d like that aesthetic more! Thank you ☺️
Hi! I believe that was a Lion Brand wool ease yarn. I use that basket every day for my catch all and it’s still holding up well. I’m so happy you enjoyed the project! 😊
Of course! Try it out, you may need to adjust your hook size. The project may turn out smaller or larger than mine. But no worries it’s fun to try out different yarns & hooks! 😊
oh yes, I made it in black and it was great to do, it went smoothly and finally someone I can follow!! I immediately subscribed to you!! Thank you for everything!! ❤️
Hello! I’m reading over this pattern to see where it could be adjusted. It is in the round, so adding more rounds will just make it bigger, like you were saying. I’m wondering if during the bulk section of rounds 8-17 you could adjust your stitches on the lower portion of the basket. Possibly placing a marker on each side for reference and doing a dc & triple crochet instead of a sc, dc? It might give enough growth to make the pattern still look good but have the depth you are looking for. It would be a good experiment! I hope that helps! 😊
Doing more rounds would make it bigger all around, not just deeper. However, changing your stitches during the bulk section of rounds 8-17 could work. Possibly placing a marker on each side for reference and doing a dc & triple crochet instead of a sc & dc. By making larger stitches such as a double crochet or triple crochet it will lengthen your work in that one area. It should result in a deeper basket. It will be a bit of trying things out to see how many rounds and how many stitches you want to change. Just keep notes as you are going along so you can replicate what you have done. 😊
Thank you so much!! This was so easy to follow. Im using it to put some instant coffee packages.
Excellent idea! I’m so happy to hear it went well! 😊

So happy to hear you like it! Great idea to fill it with veg! The cord sounds nice and sturdy! I’ll need to try that out sometime! 😊
It worked out for me but it was hard to keep up! I'm going to try again and hopefully using a different hook size will help it look more relaxed!
Keep trying! Different yarns and hooks will change things up. See what works best for you! 😊
I love this. ❤️ thank you for sharing.
What will other people use it for please?
Hi! It’s a great catch all! I’ve heard everything from keys & wallets to fruit to rolled towels! Enjoy! 😊

Can i try this with milk cotton yarn? I can't find the kind of yarn you use in my regular yarn store

Help,
How to make the bag deeper, not bigger, but more deeper at the bottom.

@@jennycatecrochet So it can be made bigger (not deeper) by just doing more rounds?

I like this. What ideas do you have for use?
Hi! I definitely love it holding my keys and all to grab going out the door! But it would be cute holding a plant or even kids little treasures!
