Nothing beats the mighty xh Ute mines a xr6 also best Ute to modify way better than the pissy vs vr holden I also have one of them to a 98 vs Ute series 3
I had an XE sedan with a 3-3 six and four speed. I always hated the XH Ute's to look at. The front and rear were a total mismatch. Sales were poor. By then, the Commodore Ute's were selling in massive numbers. I saw a new Ranger pickup today. Great looking, Australian developed. If Ford Australia made this vehicle locally, the factory would still be operating, and operating for decades to come. They imported the very models they should have been producing in - house. They were building in - house the models that weren't selling (large sedans/Ute's). The uselessness of the planning department was astounding.
100 percent agree! The failure of local manufacturing in Australia is really a disgrace, and tells us a lot about the industry and government decision making. I love XE’s too - good looking cars that still had V8s!
Being a panel beater by trade people don’t realise how to keep a older car in a rust free body as they don’t know how to rust proof a car in all the right spots so many falcons rust out because ford Australia didn’t use weld through primer in there joints chassis rails or sill panels Or enough sealer they were only made to last a maximum of ten years but if you rust proof one properly it will last a lifetime also in the falcon owners manual it says always garage for a reason
I vote we name her collectively Bonnie. ❤
