    Wow, I'm glad you mentioned that about the condenser! I'd figured you'd painted it silver, as that was original. Tinned steel is very cool!

    Nice motor testing that clearcoat looks beautiful

    David how did you go about cleaning the paint off the condenser? Great video! Very informative, like all your videos

      Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I cleaned the paint with the pressure washer and caustic degreaser.

    That's a Tecumseh compressor, isn't it? What is the HP rating?

      Yep! It is an old 50's Tecumseh. I believe it is 1/5 HP for medium temp and R12. It came from an Ideal Slider soft drink chest cooler. Was too rusty to use for a restoration but made a great cold well machine.
