i feel like Kaepernick was correct and justified in his decision to kneel for what he believed in and shouldn’t have been black balled from the NFL if he was indeed black balled. I also feel that after he sued the NFL he should have known that he would never play in the NFL again. He probably still is good enough to play and start for some teams. but the NFL is a privately owned company so i’m just you have to realize the consequences of your decisions and acknowledge if you are willing to pay those consequences.

Smith mentioned that Colin was supposed to do a trial and the NFL invited various teams to come watch. Two hours to the event, Colin decided hold his own trial in another location not too far from the initial location without informing the NFL or the teams that came to watch him. He messed himself up, so he has no one to blame but himself.

For years Jada stayed silent about what was going on in her relationship. August Alsina decided he needed to expose the details of her relationship with him and with Will. Since her response, she has been demonized as an ungrateful adultress. That narrative is simply untrue. She has a right to set the record straight. People saying you don't want to know the truth don't understand what it is like to be mischaracterized and lied about. I feel so much compassion for Jada. And I am sending her love and light.

They CLEARLY see the relationship differently and I honestly see Will as a "hostage" in it to that extent but I also feel llike HE's the one choosing to not let it go at the same time.
I usually wouldn't have this much of an opinion on strangers, but as a single-father & with all the details provided openly, I understand how he could get into his position & how hard it could be to give up.

Kap is not owed a spot in the NFL he might deserve it he might be qualified for it but he's not owed it. How many times have we all applied for a job we are over-qualified for and have not gotten it? At the end of the day it's still just a job and he sued the company it's not happening

Random: I dont think Drake can take criticism or any comments/views that does not regard him in the highest light. Therefore, he will never go into a conversation that would keep it "100" with him. I understand some people are assholes for views, I'm referencing anyone that just doesn't agree with him. Black people are more likely too keep things "real".

I think it's a bit selfish to say "hip-hop is from the culture so we need to keep it within the culture". I think it's great that it's spreading and going outside of the "culture".
It's spreading into a bigger and broader demographic when you go interview outside of the normal hip-hop platforms.
I listen to Theo Von and I would've NEVER listened to a Sexy red interview if it wasn't for him.
    ****
Kaepernick is wayyyyyy too old (as far as nfl standards go) to try and make a comeback. Why would you give a 35 year old who hasnt played in 5+ years (not sure how long its been) a chance when you can pick up a free agent thats currently available or draft one? Most players in the NFL retire by 35. So to think a player will come in at 35 and make an impact is crazy. I agree that he should go after coaching.

I love Jemele Hill BUT i think that we 'as a culture' should be lessed concerned about the platforms these "artists" (a term I use loosely for some) choose to go on and MORE concerned with the actual "art" itself. The content (or lack thereof ) is more detrimental to "the culture" than the platform. AND to suggest that because someone shares the same melanin as the artist that they are MORE deserving is ludacris. And quick sidenote: ANYONE who considers (Un)sexxy Red an "artist" is Batsh*t Crazy
