I’ll admit it- I’m a mom directioner. And it hurts my heart when I see even the occasional nasty comment about this young man’s ability to sing. I have a Masters Degree in Music and studied opera at Yale University. I have coached voices of all ages for decades- I started young- and have graduate students with careers in NYC and LA. I believe he has a very beautiful tone to his voice, has an impressive vocal range and is a very expressive singer-which is rare by the way- that is just as good live as he is in the recording studio. I love all his new music and applaud him for going solo. Don’t get me wrong- I love all the voices in 1D, - but I bought tickets for my daughter and I to see HIM in NYC in June- and we live in FLORIDA, so I am literally putting my money where my mouth is. I love Louis voice, and I do know what I’m talking about, believe me.

Absolutely!! I heard him first a year ago, and the unique tone got me immediately. His vocal is so expressive, beautiful and recognizable, which is so important for a big star. I will always recognize him among 1D, others - probably not. Some people are just deaf to music, unfortunately they are also the people who love to open their mouth and share irrelevant opinions 🤦🏻♀️
He‘s just one of the rawest artists there are. You can literally hear in his voice how much this means to him and how he puts all his heart and soul in it. We have to protect that little diamond with the sharp cheekbones at all costs, he deserves the world and more 💙

there's something about his voice that's so angelic, it calms me down, it conforms me... makes me feel safe. when i first listened to his album i felt so... light. of course in some songs my heart felt heavy because it hurts to know he's been through so much but it makes me so proud that he's trying to help other people who are also hurt through his music. he is amazing, one of the most kind-hearted people ive ever known. i love him with every single thing i have.
