Tristan, I love that you incorporate teaching the kids into the videos. They need to learn and there is no better way than assisting you and or Aaron. Great job!!
I noticed Logan's essential tremor when he was tasting the soup. I have it too. It's difficult for me to get food to my mouth even with medication. You go Logan!❤ You and Liam were awesome helpers ❤
It fantastic to teach all the kids to at least make one soup each. The younger ones could be shown how to make one using frozen vegetables and stock so they dont need knife skills. Wish there was a ❤ button instead of just thumb up as its so important to teach the these life skills
I love seeing Tristan as a “new” addition to the Pettit family. He’s been awesome to see in the videos and is a great big brother and son. Super talented guy!
Tristian the best brother teaching the young ones how to make stuff. Liam and Logan did such a good job thanks for making dinner for the fam bam. Love the family
YES!!! Potato soup is my all time favorite minus the bacon. Love the way you made this with the Plain Greek. I use plain Greek Yogurt to replace sour cream in ALL recipes that call for it bc it is so much healthier & has a lot of protein. I'm in South FL where we have like a week or 2 of winter all year. Right now it is 75° & s'posed to get down to 53° @ like 6am tomorrow...then we start all over. Thank you so much for doing this soup Tristan, Liam, Logan & whoever pitched in. I'll make my own substitutes to make vegetarian....no bacon & use Vegetarian Broth
U boys did great ! 🎉 love that all the kids get involved it’s so good to learn cooking at an appropriate young age. My 9 year old helps me cut with her kid knife from Amazon and seasons meat and my 3 yr old loves to mix eggs pancake mix just anything I will allow her to do in the kitchen lol. Great life skill!
This is the first time I've seen some of the kids washed their hands before they start assisting with prepping in the kitchen. Congratulations Tristin, you're such a good example to these boys.
Great job guys. How nice to come home after a day of moving to a nice bowl of soup. I love soup! Tristan you’re so patient and a good son and brother. Keep up the good work guys.
Tristan awesome job with getting your younger brothers involved in cooking with you for the family, especially when you are all busy with trying to get moved into the new place and get everything done for the move out and into the house that is going to be the family home, praying that you'll have a blessed holiday season and rest of 2024&Beyond,thanks again for sharing your experiences and talent for cooking with us and we appreciate you including your brothers in cooking with you for the family and making it special as well. 😊❤😊
This looks amazing! I LOVE SOUPS...... I too have been making soups weekly. This week was a 15 beans soup with beef sausage. SO GOOD. I would love to see more videos on soups! GREAT JOB!
I make yummy potato soup, but my mom won’t eat it. Some thing about that’s what they had to eat during the great depression a lot. She’s 91. My dad used to love it but he’s gone now. Here’s a hint. Do you ever have leftover mashed potatoes from Thanksgiving or a holiday or any mail before you throw them out make potato soup or cheesy potato soup . I do that often.
I've never tried Patato soup. Here in South Africa I've only made vegetable soup and chicken and corn soup. Which is a family favourite Now we enjoying the summer. 🇿🇦
For a second I was confused that the video started in Portuguese hahahaha, it's really cool that this is included on the channel, I'm from Brazil, but I speak English too But it's cool to recommend and share the channel with friends who don't know English.
Tristan U are such an awesome guy! Helping out your Family, U just fit right in and I really love when U are so involved and involving the Family members to be in the midst of the cooking and not just the tasting! SOUPS are so amazing now that the weather is getting cold/colder in some states and countries! Blessings, love and prayers for all, from Israel 🇮🇱. Peace for all on this Earth and in this World! Am Yisroel Chai =The Nation of Israel Lives/Israel Will Survive!
Good initiative to work on lifeskill1s with the younger boys by teaching them to cook a soup. And fortunately there is Tristan who can teach. Think of canning or freezing meals also for emergencies or as planned meals.
U should make the Puerto Rican soup salchichon I think they would love it Or also a Puerto Rican soup that’s with rice chicken and potatoes all cooked together. Sooooo bomb
Omg Tristan for a second I lost my mind and thought you were making french onion soup with no Julienned onions lol. Everything looked great but I did a double take lol I’m a French onion soup expert
This looks yummy! Could you please tell me the amounts of potato, onion and garlic you used? I watched your video and could not determine how much of these 3 things you added to make the soup. If it’s possible to post a full recipe that would be wonderful as well. Thank you for your ideas!
You guys should try to make skyline chili from Cincinnati Ohio (specifically the 3-way) it’s a classic from Cincinnati and will give you guys a good excuse to make more yummy chili!
I had to laugh. OMW the editor put in that song when you added the onion and garlic to the bacon grease about 4:12/13. It sounded like it kept saying B S b s . go listen for it. BTW I do love your cooking episodes keep doing them.
Make Brunswick stew. You can make it thick or thinner so in my opinion it could be considered a soup! In a pinch I just use shredded rotisserie chicken and a refrigerator bowl of store bought barbecue for the meat.
Tristan you should tell you're cooking team that when they have washed their hands not to rub their hands through their hair or touch their face😢 bad hygiene😢 but❤ love your soup recipes❤
Can you make corn chowder soup. I tried it once and was delicious, but haven't found that perfect recipe yet. Maybe you have a good recipe to share with your audience here on the RUclips.
Tristan, I love that you incorporate teaching the kids into the videos. They need to learn and there is no better way than assisting you and or Aaron. Great job!!
I agree. It's never too early to learn how to cook something. 😊
I couldn't agree more. Hope you are having a wonderful day. Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦💛
Tristian is a wonderful teacher too!
Tristan your patience with the younger kids and teaching them to cook is amazing. These are small memories to last a lifetime
I noticed Logan's essential tremor when he was tasting the soup. I have it too. It's difficult for me to get food to my mouth even with medication. You go Logan!❤
You and Liam were awesome helpers ❤
Yea he was diagnosed with it a few months ago
I knew that. But thanks for the enlightenment
Tristan’s the best! Love seeing him teach his little brothers how to cook. Also love the idea of the soup series!
Teaching the kids to cook is wonderful
Love watching Tristan cooking with the kids it's sweet and they learn something new x
It fantastic to teach all the kids to at least make one soup each. The younger ones could be shown how to make one using frozen vegetables and stock so they dont need knife skills. Wish there was a ❤ button instead of just thumb up as its so important to teach the these life skills
I love that the boys wanted to help and learn from the master. Perfect soup for a cold day. Good luck with the move!
Tristan you are a great big brother. I love how you bring them all in the kitchen to teach them. Keep it up!! 💜
I love seeing Tristan as a “new” addition to the Pettit family. He’s been awesome to see in the videos and is a great big brother and son. Super talented guy!

Tristian working with Liam and logan is great to see.
This is the first time I've seen some of the kids washed their hands before they start assisting with prepping in the kitchen. Congratulations Tristin, you're such a good example to these boys.
It doesn't need to be shown to know they're being told to do so.
Perfect for the season!
I've never eaten potato soup before, but will definitely be trying this. Looks delicious ❤
I like when you teach the kiddos
Mark 🤣reduce the music, just a little bit thank youuuuuuu

Make Brunswick stew. You can make it thick or thinner so in my opinion it could be considered a soup! In a pinch I just use shredded rotisserie chicken and a refrigerator bowl of store bought barbecue for the meat.

I was laughing because because that happened right behind Tristan’s back
Can you make corn chowder soup. I tried it once and was delicious, but haven't found that perfect recipe yet. Maybe you have a good recipe to share with your audience here on the RUclips.
