There, he took the seed of an idea-some “Super Trick Shit” in the form of a parts mail order business-and turned it into something that would, and did, change the game. Saw the hoodie on R.C. today and had to go searching for what the heck it meant. Landed on this gem of a story.
Just about a month ago I was in an accident riding my surron, I got sideswiped by a armored car/truck, luckily I was wearing a fox helmet and gloves, and I can testify that mips really work! I vividly remember tumbling on the road 3 times, it was weird like I could feel the helmet scraping, banging against the road but at the same time I couldn't feel it actually hitting the road if you know what I mean, the helmet is so good that my literal thoughts as I go tumbling down the road was "fuck my helmet is full of scratches now", it could be that its just that there are more pain in my hips but when my doctor said it was surprising that my head was perfectly fine that just made me commit even more into investing into fox gear. I mean even before my accident all of my riding gears are fox, that accident really made me believe in how safety is one of the priority of fox when it comes to their gears, and I'd still be buying and will recommend them to anyone interested in the sports.
