    We got our 2nd Moderna shot about 2 weeks ago - my husband was completely fine, just a sore arm. But I had 101-102 fever, chills and body aches (we're 41). My Mom is 73 and got Moderna too, was completely fine with both shots. I think it just depends on the person. What helped me was having an ice pack for my arm and head when I felt the fever and Tylenol. Just ride it out for 2 days and I was fine afterwards. We're here in NYC and they just opened up to 16 and older.... waiting for the ones for kids so our 12 and 8 year old can get it and get back to in-person school (they are home school now). Congratulations on the 1st dose and good luck with the 2nd :) :)

      @@Lady_Peaches You are correct. Jelly is seedless, jam has pieces of the fruit in it and relish is usually savory products mixed with sweet to make a condiment. I grew up with a British grandmother so we would call it Marmalade (which is like Jam, but has pieces of the fruit rind in it) and peanut butter. Who knew fruit spreads had so many names :)

    • @lindatannock
      @lindatannock 3 года назад

      @@hankbug marmalade is the name only given to citrus "jam". Orange, lemon or lime. Only tart flavours.
      We do use the word jelly in the UK, for jams without fruit pulp or seeds, as well as jelly for the fruit dessert like jello. My grandma used to make jams and jelly. Her bramble flavour was the only one called bramble "jelly", as it had no fruit inside. Don't know if it's just a Scottish thing or not, to call it that 🤷🏼‍♀️

    21:00 Agents of Shield is psuedo-canon to the MCU... There were things that happened in one season that tied directly into Winter Soldier and then later on in the last season there were things that tied into the Quantum Realm. Agent Carter was also sort of the same thing. There was character in the show called JARVIS who worked for Howard Stark, who was tasked with helping Peggy Carter on the show and he even showed up in one of the MCU movies during a flashback to the 70's. They were both really excellent shows and I would suggest watching them if and when you have some free time at night after the buddy is asleep.

    I think that Florida is different - in my state (NJ) you cannot call and get on a list for leftover doses, unfortunately. You cannot call pharmacies directly. You can only use the appointment systems. However, if you happen to be in a pharmacy that is finishing for the day and they have leftovers, you may be able to get one.

My second shot is the day after my seven year wedding anniversary on April 19. I am a teacher of the visually impaired in Lee County Florida. I had the same reaction as Tim, pretty much no side effects and no arm soreness at all which I was really surprised and happy about. I did have a slight headache afterwards but other than that I was good! We’re getting there!!
