Is the 500i 40% better or faster, because it costs that much more. The 500i also 4 strokes too much when it's not buried in big wood. There are a lot of things better about Huskies, their also smoother and have better filtration. Stihls are great too, but they can be beat. Matching performance and preference is more like it. I suggest you hone your chain sharpening skills. Good sawing!
Yeah, I have to admit the chain wasn't as sharp as I like. I didn't sharpen it though. And I would say the 500i is worth every penny.
I have a 500i. It doesn't 4 stroke at all. No matter what size of wood.

Yes. I had it sharpened by someone with a electric sharpener....probably should have touched it up with a file...

Got 2 husky pros/with auto tune/choice never had drama.stihl is stihl junk no quality lisc to China.
Husky saws are awesome, but so are stihls...just my opinion.
