Thank you hon minister, well spoken.but to develop we have toconquer hunger from our corridoors. Our staple food is rice. What steps is the ministry Agric doing towardsthis deficensy.Remember a hungry man is an angry man.Agriclture is the back bone of our economy can the hon minister come tothe media and shed light on what the ministry have sofar achieve,Ministers like anyother civilians are payed to deliver positive result,I rest my case.
Monkeys have been displaced in Gunjur due to the sand mining in Gunjur. Where does the Government think they have gone too? Farmers need funding to fence off there lands from Monkeys eating their crops. So if as the Minister said Biodiversity needs to protected and balanced with human needs for food security. The gun importation is highlighting a failure in the National Environmental policy. The Government needs to effectively communicate with local communities to inform their policies.
I've mostly been critical of this government but credit where credit is due. The minister has clearly elaborated on current pressing issues and I for one I'm satisfied. There appears to be an intention to communicate and be transparent to the people and this must not be taken lightly. The minister himself is articulate, methodical and clearly has a vision that I only hope he is getting from the leadership but I will suffice to say that Barrow will do very well to build a team of this Ilk. My main concern is the haphazard manner in which the government operates in terms of the conflicting reports that emanate from it and the procedural errors that are still common within it but by this interview, I will now listen before jumping to conclusions because of preconceived perceptions. Well done to the minister.
And again this man will not say anything bad in the Gov. because he is working if them. well you can run but you can hide Gambia is bless no one can spoil it so be,
This Gov is not committed at all. corrupt Gov they are not doing anything good in the Gambia. for we the youth in the future poor people are crying everyday. Allah never sleep want gose around comes around,
inviting this man is useless, every question he will say i don't want to comment because that and that... better stay in your office please if you dont have answers for the public
Mr sillah one is not clear.when u i mean the goverment says to us ,that we getting help from EU ,China and others.i disagree with the govverment that its not a help its a loan that we going to pay back with a huge intress. Its not a simple help.Gambians would prefer real facts my question, is it difficult to say we arange for such amount of loan, for the developments this and that.which willbe payable at such a giving time. Say the Eu willbe using our waters to fish for a such time in return for grants ,aid and loans.these countries will never dash taxpayers monies to third world countries for noting in return. We want to know why prices of commoditys are sky rocketing.Gambia is one of the poorest nations inthe world. But ministers are having salary increasement.while majority of gambian cant affort a bag of rice.Mr president i take u for your word.you willbring the price of rice down .Gambians are waiting this is the sweetest promise u ever make. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
You interview is one-sided; you talked only on Information dissemination; how about Communication Infrastructure? you did not ask him about GRTS, GAMTEL, GAMCEL, PURA and the Private Telecomms and Private Radios and Televisions Stations.j
