is it just me or is it when someone tries to somewhat insult me I just laugh because of how hard they trying. and when someone insults me it doesn't offend me it kinda just irritates me because I am irritated literally 24/7 i need peace so someone irritates me your asking for me to lash out at u and I will make u wish u had just left me alone
@@Juliette211 I'm going to 6th grade too but I just shrugged it off after thinking about it in a different way. Think of it as if your going to the same school but just going up a grade. If you feel anxiety try taking a week off from thinking about it, it helps I promise! I hope it helps at least a bit! It'll get better I promise and all of this is coming from a soon-to-be-6th-grader. Remember, you are loved
A tip for not comparing yourself: Models photos are photoshopped unfortunately. The girls you see on TV have professional make-up done and have clothes that almost no-one else has. Hope this helps a little!!! :)
When I was in second grade I saw this new girl I was so curious I came up to her was like, "Hi!! Can we be friends?" She said yes and we ended up being BFFs🤣
omggg yessss i had like the same situation when i was is 2nd grade, i was in the playground and this one girl came up to me and asked, “do you want to be friends?” And i said yes. But i barely talked to her. But it’s interesting that she became my bff rn.
MY ADVICE IS DON"T EVER EVER COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS. It happens a lot in middle school. Keep pushing yourself and enjoy middle school to the fullest

The sixth graders are/were having a tour of the school, but the seventh graders don’t get one, coz, y’know, we’re seventh graders. My school starts in 3 days and I have no idea if I’ll even find my class.

Just watched this for the heck of it, as I'm about to move in to college lol Classes: Yes there will be different teachers for different subjects, same with high school. When it comes to learning, understand what kind of learning works for you, for example: are you a visual learner? Auditory? Hands on? Whichever one, use it to assist you. Teachers: Some teachers you find mean are either just strict or are truly mean. Have had both. The strict ones are nicer as people than as teachers. Clothes: Depends as she said, for me I just throw on a pair of jeans and a shirt xD Making friends: That is true, but (this is moreso for incoming 6th graders) y'all are essentially all new to this, and this point is a very good time to make friends. Drama: Yeah no don't do it and don't get involved. Never ends well. Bullying: Please tell people when these things, for others that is very significant. Mental health is very important. And to be honest, bullying can result from a lot of negative things. Relationships: Imo it's best to wait until HS or College. But if that's what you want, spend time with that person, don't rush into it. Confidence: Yes, don't compare yourself to anyone else. Only compare you to yourself. Did you get better at something? If not, what goals can you set to make something better? In terms of your body, do not feel pressured to do certain things, do it because you want to do it. Speaking from experience, if I did that back then my confidence would be much higher. I'm working on it now as I type, it's been messed up since middle school. Supplies: Wait til orientation and see what the teachers actually need from you.
As someone who has never ever gone to public school and has only ever been home schooled or gone to a private school, this helped my confidence SO MUCH! I'm going into 8th grade when school starts back up.

Imo the classes weren't all that hard, sure there were challenges but I got through them!! I had some stricter teachers and some more laid back teachers, but all of them were still good. The part when she tells you to work hard and let your teachers know you're working hard is very true. I have gotten extensions on assignments I still needed time to finish not to mention the teachers were friendly too. I think one of the biggest things for me was that I took notes during Math and Science and I swear I would have like a C in both classes if not for that. Most to all advice she gave was used and because of it I had a good time and got good grades. Best of luck in 8th grade!!!🩷

Well I’ve already went through middle school but I’m just gonna say my personal experience wasn’t that great. I did have good teachers and I did have good grades throughout my 3 years but I found it difficult to make friends since I didn’t have too many friends in elementary. I did try making friends but once quarantine started we started talking less and we didn’t really talk anymore at that point. Overall though the schoolwork was easy, didn’t have to study that much to maintain grades.
Ok wait so my middle school isn't doing a orientation this year. Normally they walk you around and show you your classes. So it might be hard for me to find my classes. Any tips for that? And also my middle starts when your in 7th grade and the one i was at before starts in 6th grade. So its going to be weird because they are going to treat me like ive never been in middle school before. 😂
I honestly don’t really know what to tell u 😂 but I would say just ask teachers and administrators in the halls where certain classes are, and memorize ur schedule.

I start middle school on monday and its sunday ONE DAY IM SO SCARED - idk why I've watched probably about 10 middle school advice videos like how am I going to find the friends I have that came to the same middle school etc. ya probably just making friends and the big people I'm scared about IMA GET LOST :(

I’m honestly so glad my elementary school and county have a system where the first year of middle school is housed in the elementary school (for a better transition into middle school) and that we star class switching in 2nd grade (2nd grade there are 2 teachers, one teaches science and math, the other teaches English and social studies, then third grade to 6th grade has 3 teachers, not including activity, 1 for math, 1 for science, and 1 for English and social studies) I’m in 6th grade right now and the school years ending soon and I’m SOOO nervous for middle school
Im about to start 8th but im super nervous because most of the kids hate me / bully me bc i got in trouble 2 weeks before summer break and people found out cuz the principals were talking about it to the kids :( but this video helps alot
also, dont worry too much, just be yourself and if you know one of your friends like u, and you dont wanna date them; drift away and dont go off on them
No bc im starting middle school (6th grade) in abt 3-4 months (pray for me pls) but im so happy that so my elementary (primary) school went on a tour of the middle school this month and like 2 middle schoolers guided like 7-8 5th graders in a group it was fun but they were like “if u get lost go in the skylight” i got to see the gyms everything and i have the most BASIC ahh layout but yknow we’re out here living we’re living ;-; 😫

i only had friends in middle school (and still do i’m going into eighth) bc i literally became friends w one of them in kindergarten and we played dollies together, then my other friend i met in second grade. we’re a three group hehe (i know everyone says DONT BE IN A THREE GROUP) but fr we make it work 😎😎😎

I’m honestly so glad my elementary school and county have a system where the first year of middle school is housed in the elementary school (for a better transition into middle school) and that we star class switching in 2nd grade (2nd grade there are 2 teachers, one teaches science and math, the other teaches English and social studies, then third grade to 6th grade has 3 teachers, not including activity, 1 for math, 1 for science, and 1 for English and social studies)

also, dont worry too much, just be yourself and if you know one of your friends like u, and you dont wanna date them; drift away and dont go off on them

No bc im starting middle school (6th grade) in abt 3-4 months (pray for me pls) but im so happy that so my elementary (primary) school went on a tour of the middle school this month and like 2 middle schoolers guided like 7-8 5th graders in a group it was fun but they were like “if u get lost go in the skylight” i got to see the gyms everything and i have the most BASIC ahh layout but yknow we’re out here living we’re living ;-; 😫
