I love that "yellability" is a factor
Oh absolutely 😂 how I chose my kids names too 😂
Erma Bombeck in one of her books says “when you’re trying to name a kid, if you can shout him from your back steps and it works, that goes on your list” 😂
Nora is my favorite name but after nearly 12 years of infertility I finally decided to use it on a puppy we got a couple of months ago.
My parents got married in their mid twenties, tried for a baby for 14 years, did everything ivf, embryo transfer, etc. Nothing worked. They finally started looking into fostering to have a family and all of a sudden they got me unassisted. Two years later they had my brother. It will happen in God's time, but I do so hope that you are blessed with a baby.
Chealsea I’m praying for you❤️
*What is the Gospel?*
The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Romans 10:9
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
REPENT OF YOUR SINS Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS
I've known two girls named Felicity. One we called Flic (she was kinda edgy so it really suited her) and the other was Flossie (she was girly so that suited her too). :)
In Australia most Felicity’s are “Flick” I have also heard Flissy, which I love
Neighbours
I feel like Henry will be the name you do end up picking for one of your children some day!! It just seems to really fit with your family - I'm not sure why but, gut feeling 🤷💕❤️
Exactly the same feeling!
I think Henry is the perfect fit!!😍
Sameeee
It’s a name I can yell, says she. 😂 😂 I love that so mich
And it’s just so funny, because from what I’ve seen of Sarah, you’re not the kind of person who would yell at their kid if they get in trouble, and so it’s yell in a different context than what first pops into my head.
It's true tho. I worked for a school and did what I call "the playground test" when choosing a name for my first child.
@@RachelDee I wish I did that test with my kids. My son's name, seems werid to yell. Luckily I don't yell much.
Yes! I even did this with the boys whom I liked growing up like, "Hummm, does this name sound romantic when I yell it?" 🤣
“She’s practically a wood elf”!!🤣🤣❤️
My son's middle name is Henry, after my grandmother, Henrietta. She was a phenomenal woman and she passed away just a few months before he was born. I wanted to honor her memory and remind myself to be the kind of woman she was, so I have a daily reminder in my son :)
that's so beautiful ♥
You family NEEDS a Theodore or a Josephine Therese. Needs.
We almost named our youngest Josephine Rose.
Woooow how beautiful the name Josephine Therese 😍😍😍😍😍
My name is Louise, and I didn't know this until I started doing my family tree, but there has been a Louise or Louisa in every generation running down my mothers direct line since 1810. It's strange that I had no idea about this, as I named my daughter Stephanie Louise! I inadvertently carried on the tradition - and like to think my mum helped me from the other side as no other name went with Stephanie that I liked xxx
There's a book series and a television show by the same name called Road to Avonlea, in which one of the characters is named Alec and he has a daughter called Felicity and a son named Felix. There's other characters with lovely names: Jasper Dale, Henrietta (Hetty), Cecily, Eliza, Dora, Isolde (Izzy), Elvira, and Arthur.
Loved the name Henri my whole life, always thought I'd name my son that. Then met my husband... And his middle name was Henri! Talk about meant to be! Our son henri is 2 now! Best kid!
I think her name is Jane? I kinda remember her mentioning that she liked the name Jane! Love the names!
Yes and fits the naming after old romance books! Jane Austen writes pride and prejudice!
Omg the name Jane is so beautiful!!!!!
That's what I was thinking
@@tiffanynoach5270 she also said in her Q & A that she liked Therese. Jane Therese sounds lovely together!😍
I love the name Jane but my hubby is not on board with any older style names!
I am 38 weeks pregnant and already have a Lucy (middle name Rose) and we are expecting a baby brother. My husband is french so we found it a bit tricky agreeing on names! In your video one of the names you say you love is our chosen name! Eeeee! Makes me so happy when people like names! Best of luc with your pregnancy X
My daughter is called Evelyn heather, if I have a boy in the future I would probably choose the name Theodore ❤️
I have a Henry and I can confirm, it's very yellable 😂
Love it ❤
absolutely love this comment😂
😂 That is so funny! I love it.
🤣🤣🤣
I'm jewish, we believe a child is born with a name and the parents discover it. Wish you and baby health and peace ♡
Yes!!!
That's beautiful
I love that! I had a dream where I met my future daughter and knew her name about 7 years before she was even conceived. The name fits her perfectly.
It always takes us a week a two after the baby is born to give them a name. 💜 I feel like we have to see baby, get to know them a bit, and let their name come to light.
@@emerald_rabbit what’s her name!?
I went to school with a girl name Felicity (love the name!) and we called her Flick!
Yep same!
Just coming here to add the same! I've known a couple of Felicitys and they were both Flicks.
My mother in law is named Félicité (my in laws are French) and everyone calls her Félie or even maman Félie, however I wouldn’t use it on a future daugther as they don’t repeat family names, but I find it cute!
Little woman is a book I had when I was little and I never got to finish it because me and my family moved away and I lost it.This book was always in the back of my mind and when you mentioned Josephine it just clicked. So now ,12 years later, I get to finish it.Thank you so much, Sarah❤️💕
I just wanted to say that you have made such a huge difference in my walk with God!! Your videos always motivate me to become a better Godly woman and a more responsible person in general. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
Our son’s name is John/Johnny. His middle name is Isaac, meaning ‘he laughs/will laugh.’ He is nonverbal with autism, but his laugh is everything. Such a sweet, happy boy. We have our second baby due in August, (you’ve always been a few weeks ahead of me and so encouraging) he will be Samuel. Johnny & Sammy. 💙
Awwww 😍 I love that. Congrats on the baby. I’m sure Johnny and Sammy will be best friends.
🥰 my sons name is Isaac Zephanyah (God has hidden) & he is also always laughing 💖
@@milenataylor2 thank you Milena! 💙
@@flavistar9123 I love that name, how sweet ! 🥰
Love the names! So classic and beautiful! All the best on your delivery :)
Aw if we have another boy we planned to name him Henry Lawrence after my grandpa who passed this year. It’s a beautiful timeless name. Congrats!
I have ALWAYS loved the name Athena since I was 13 bc of my love for Greek mythology so naturally when I found out I was having a daughter I jumped at the opportunity. Additionally, bc of my love for P & P Darcy is also on my future baby name list but for a girl so it’s super cool to hear that you also love Darcy 🤗
Felicity in the American Girl books is called Lissie sometimes!
I've heard Flick as a nickname (UK)
That name is on my list too
My niece is Felicity! We call her Lici Jane
Fee is also cute!
From where im from (Argentina) we pronounce the name Felicitas, and the nick name is Feli (it is pronounced something like feh-lee)
We named our son Jonathan, which means "Gift of Jehovah," and we call him Jonny most of the time. (Jonny is a good "calling/yelling" name too 😅). Also two middle names are very useful when they're in trouble 🤣
That's such a beautiful meaningful name!
Just finished reading Heidi with the kiddos. We loved it!
I'm glad you have lots to choose from and names you enjoy. We had such a hard time picking boy names. We chose Wade and Lad and they fit so perfectly! One syllable boy names seemed to be our favorite.
Edmond reminds me of the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe :) I also know a Felicity who went by Lissy.
When i was expecting my oldest, I was in love with Diana because of Wonder Woman. But I've had all boys.
Ha! Me too! But now I am blessed with 4 granddaughters.. sooo much fun! ❤️
Calvin, Elizabeth, Ivy, and Lawrence YESSSSSSS I hope it’s a boy for the Lawrence name only haha
If I had a baby named Theodore, their nickname would be Teddy. Like Theodore Roosevelt 😊
Omg I love the reason for Teddy haha
I actually met a boy named teddy 😍😍♥️
I always thought about having a Theodora to then call Teddy, I think it's the most adorable girl name, but also great for a boy
That is part of Laurie's name, too in Little Women. His full name is Theodore Lawrence. They call him Laurie, but Jo's nickname for him is Teddy. Guess he has two nicknames!:)
i call my cat Teddy xDD
Beatrice is my grandmother's name, I've always loved it! They used to called her Bea (bee) before she passed.
My son is named Alistar Warren, my daughter who is almost a week old, her name is Ingrid Rose. ♥️
Beautiful names!
Congrats xx gorgeous names
My guess (based on basically nothing 😂) - I think the baby is a girl and you are going to name her Amelia or Camille.
Again, no idea why. This just came to my mind.
Camille seems like a spot on fit for her family!
That’s my name lol
@@Thefunchannel5678 Camille is such a beautiful name! Remember my dad wanting to call his next daughter Camille but he got a Jonathan in the end haha and no other baby, yet!
can’t wait to hear your names Sarah!
I loved the fact that most of the names you like are from books lol😂🤍
Liking “Henry” because it’s something she can yell 🤣🤣🤣🤣
As a British person, Felix is cute but Felix is a cat 😂
Yes like the cat food cat advert
100% 🥰
In Germany it's a bunny😁
As someone from Finland I like the name too, but there is a ketchup brand🥴
Thank you so much for sharing! Thank you for being such a wonderful role model for young girls! You give me motivation each day and your love for the Lord is so contagious! 💕
Anyone else luuuuuv when Sarah and Delilah both upload on the same day every week? My fav day.
Love it! I love keeping a list of baby names. It’s sad when one of your favs is taken by a close relative, but like you said... so many names out there!

Awww I love Elliot!! You can call still use the name and call him Leo. Little Leo. That is precious!!
I don’t know why, but for some reason I just LOVE the name Quinn for a girl!
Quinn is my top boys name rn!
In the book series Malory Towers, there’s a character called Felicity, and in the recent BBC TV adaptation her older sister calls her “Fee” (kinda sounds like the letter V lol)
Check out the story of Saint Felicity, and her friend Saint Perpetua.
Jovi is my favorite name right now. Just named my baby girl that. She was born at home in water 3 weeks ago. 🥰
That’s been on my list for two babies. I love it.
English girl names I like: Claire, Maia, Eloise, Olivia, Everly, Eliana, Laura,
Spanish girl names: Elena, Pilar, Catalina, Isabella, Luisa, Amelia, Valeria, Vera,
For boy names it's always a mess jajajaa.
My daughters name is Eliana and we call her Ellie. I love it! ❤️
Our daughters Amelia y ennia...The Boys angelo and Enzo
Yay! Haha ❤️
Love Amelia and Isabella 🥰
@@casainpiemonte2272 Angelo 🥰
I have a Wilson Robert, Henry James, and June Sawyer. And yes, Henry is a very easy name to yell out at the park.
Love all of these! They sound so cute together too!
I love how all your names are classic names and not the "newer" names! All my kids' names are classic names too.
I just want to say you are such a cute soul. You were worried about it being boring but your personality is so enjoyable to watch/listen too. Love your Chanel!
So glad that these are all traditional solid classic names.
My favorite of your boy names, would be Edmond, especially with the "o" and not a "u" And for girls I liked, Josephine and Louisa (stand alone) has been a favorite of mine for a while, and Felicity which I was a fan of American Girl dolls so it has a soft spot for me.
Henry and Felix are solid names ❤️ they sound like a perfect fit in your family.
On another note, we are the exact opposite and both me and my hubby and are kids have the same initials: first middle and last 😆
I have always loved having an irish name! Kellyn means powerful warrior princess in irish Gaelic and the meaning behind that has always been important to me. Wish you luck in the rest of your pregnancy!!
My favorite baby names are names that start with a and that are typically somewhat gender-neutral, like Alex, Adrienne, and Alana
Alana and Adrienne are feminine though
The A prefix means without and typically has feminine connotation.
I’m 33 weeks pregnant with a girl, and we’ve been dead set on Lucy for moooonths. We’re big Beatles fans, so with a pup named Penny, it made sense! ✨
I’m a big Beatle fan, and when she mentioned Lucy I thought of the song
I caught several Road to Avonlea names in there! 🥰 (Also, Theodore, Daisy and Louisa can all count with the Little Women names. 😘) LOVE all the literary names! Now I want to have more babies to name! 😂 (Five wasn’t enough! 😜)
I was searching for this comment❤️ One of my favourite series😍🥺
They could all be from like the pride and prejudice time! Love how unique they are!
French mom here and i love Edmond, Théodore and Henri. And as I said in your other video, my eldest is called Diane and I love Joséphine. So many names are cute (and the same!) in both English and French !
My boy is Henry, I’m biased but I think it has been just the BEST boy name 🤍 if we had a boy second he would have been Calvin :)
Our second baby’s middle name is Elliot, also a great name & a tribute to Elisabeth & Jim Elliot the author and missionaries :)
Hudson is one of my fav boy names! Husband couldn’t get on board. I also love the name Declan. For a girl: Lena or Nora ❤️
We love the name Constantine, it is so strong and unique! And for a girl Lucy is so sweet 💙
My third daughter is Josephine Rose. We call her Feeny and Josie Rosie.
What A LOVELY name! Just so beautiful!
Funny. I also thought Rose would be such a great name for your girl :)
Beautiful name!
i babysit a little girl with thatg same name!
By the way, the Louisa made me think - my grandmother's name was Louise but her entire life she was called Susie!
Louisa is a brand of toasted ravioli here in Saint Louis Missouri
My mom named me " Magda" and I didn't like it for a long time but now that I'm older I feel so special and unique having this name so I named my girl "Malayah" and my boy "Deyan" hoping they will feel special having these names..💕
Juno
I love this name so much! It is short and has strength behind it. And it's unique without being too unusual.
My niece's name is Felicity. Daycare calls her "Fee" and my sister likes "Tilly". I like "Lissie" ☺️ but it is a hard name to nickname
Tilly is so cute!
I call my Felicity Lissy as well. I chose the name for its meaning- good fortune
I’ve heard Flick for Felicity
Lissie is also the American Girl Felicity's nickname in the books!
Also I love that your names are mostly based on books ❤️
Sarah I love the way you say Ivy like sooo delicate, so precious, just like she is, that's my favourite name 🥰
What I love is every name you shared with a book inspiration I legit thought of the book before you referenced it 😂
We're not having kids, but that doesn't stop me from having a mile-long list of baby names that I like! My favorite boy name is Canaan Robert, favorite girl name is Evelyn Noelle
Alec is my boyfriends name and I LOVE it. He’s never understood why I love his name so much 😂
Hi Sarah! Just found out I am pregnant and I have been watching these baby videos. I find it so funny that you put Felix and Louisa as two of your favorite names. My husband is named Felix and I am named Louisa but spelled L-u-i-s-a. Love your new content and looking back at old content like this❤
my friend felicity uses the nickname lizzy, i love heidi so much also and also for beatrix u can use bea or trixie or roxie
I love Elliott but for a girl with the nickname Lottie
Louis Tomlinson from One Direction had a sister called Felicité and her nickname was Fizzie
There’s a Netflix show and the protagonist is a “teen” his name is John Booker and everyone calls me John B.
I have this weird struggle with names, my main language is Spanish and so is my heritage but I live in th US, for names I always looks for names that sound well in both languages, like my two sons Luca and Diego, but I love the name Claire for a girl but it doesn't sound right in Spanish, and this happens with sooo many names where they fit one side but not both
I love the English pronunciation of Eugen but DISPITE the German one. It sounds so bad😂😂😂
Same here girl 🙋🏻♀️
That's my same issue. My fiance is from Mexico and really wants our children to have spanish names, which I fully agree with! I love spanish names, but the difficulty we have is with boy names bc he has 8 brothers plus so many male family members and a whole lot of the names I like are already taken. 😪😭
Clara? :)
I am white and my husband is Spanish and so we named our boys Julian and Luka.
Our struggle is girl names! But we love Eliza so far.
Marie, Anne, & Rita are fav's of mine x Beatrix also has a special spot for me and can totally be shortened to Betty 😍. Great vid Sez x
Names are so much fun to think about! I really like all the names you listed. Two names I really love are Avonlea Grace, and Azariah Matthew
I have never liked "girl" names. My favourite names have always been Jude and Luca, so even if I have girls they're getting those ahah
I GENUINELY DONT HAVE A GUESS FOR THE GENDER OF THE BABY....
my favorite boy and girl names from your list:
*theodore and josephine*
my future baby names:
*grayson and milena* and this name for either gender *belen, pronounced bay-lin* 🥰
I've been watching you for so long and I would skip around to different videos that didn't really apply to my life. now that I'm married and trying to conceive we've been thinking a lot about baby names and so I am so open to your ideas
My son is Elliot Francis and I love it for him 💕 it definitely has a cheeky chappy element to it!
I named my daughters Nora and Katherine and my son Matthew. We love old fashioned names!
There is a show I love on Netflix called "Call the Midwife." There is a character on there named Beatrix and her nickname is Trixie which I think is adorable!!
yes ! i loved that show and i loved her character too!
YAAAAAAAAAS. I was liking some of them more than others and then Felix happened. Yes 👏🏻 Yes 👏🏻 Yes 👏🏻 That was just like the piece fitting right into the puzzle.
Someone I grew up with was named Felicity and they called her “Feli” (fell•E)
T:h:a:n:k:s f:o:r y:o:u:r c:o:m:m:e:n:t

I love the name Ivy, that was such a great choice! Lawrence is a great name, and a family name in my family! Love Laurie for Lawrence! I think you may be having a girl.
Ahh! Elliot is my husband’s name 💗. It’s so uncommon… at least where I am from. Had such a smile on my face when that came up first on your list ☺️
Same I’ve always loved ivy and will probably call a daughter Ivy. It’s everything all in one
Felicity is my favorite name! That is the one girl name that my husband and I agreed on (not pregnant just started talking about starting a family) 1. I was a huge fan of Felicity the American Girl doll and the books. Her nickname was Lissie. But our honeymoon and our favorite vacation spot is Williamsburg, so we liked the colonial feel!
I loooove the name Jane. I think it’s so simple and distinguished 😌 not anywhereeee near having children tho HAHA but I think I will definitely use that name 🙈
I love the name too! My oldest's name Piper Jane 🥰
Me too! my oldest daughter's name is Jane Sophia.
Makes me think of Jane from Tarzan
Also: if I ever have another son I want to name him Ezra
Me too
That name was on my list for such a long time but unfortunately one of my exes named his son Ezra so that’s out for me now lol
I love that you love the older classic names
I love the way you describe each of these names. I personally love baby name videos 😅
I love the names: Alexis, Clint, Clementine, Estelle, Rosalie, Èsrah/Ezra, Nova, Marquelle 💛
Other Alex’s, I’m here for you 😂
you made me love my name with this 💜 thank you
I especially love your girl name choices. IF I ever have a girl (I have 4 boys) I can totally see myself using one of these.
If I have a boy next, I want it to be Jude. Maisie for a girl
Love Jude💙
The way you yelled Henry cracked me up 😅
I have realized that I really love old school vintagy names. Recently I have seen the names Imogen (girl) and I love it!! Also love Maeve and Mia. (Girls) For Boys I have always loved the name Nathan, but honestly I love unique names too and I would have to see my baby to decide. I knew a Lawrence and they called him Larry.
You are just so freakin Cute !!!! Love watching your vids. Always makes me smile ❤️ Thank you for being you!
Our baby girl is due at the end of October, we've picked Rowan Lucianna as her name.
