Please record Matt doing a gig. It’d be awesome to see how he does his thing and presents effects like hook. Sometimes the hardest thing is understanding how to play an effect live.
I have to admit it I am really jealous of Matt! A few months ago i was seemingly doing not too badly, into my 3rd year of learning this fine & beautiful art, and with being very sick I still felt I had managed to move forward a lot considering all the cancelled practice sessions. Then I watch Matt become a magician. Not only does he take to it like a fish to water, he is being taught by an amazingly knowledgeable and experienced teacher, along with others like Nemed. I see him transform into a working, gigging magician...while I sit here, still sick, still struggling to focus even in a daily practice. Life is a cruel bitch. I'd give anything to be performing.. and hopefully, one day, I will. Until then I suppose I should hold back on the self pity and practice. Matt if you're reading this, just know how utterly lucky you are mate.
That was awesome Matt. For Anverdi Die, I don't think I've gotten more mileage out of a single prop as well. As far as it going wrong-- it happened one time in performance to me-- I think it was my fault as I panicked a bit-- By that time there were around 20 people gathered around waiting for me to tell the lady what she rolled. I guessed 3-- got it right-- never had to go through that again. !!
EDC videos are always great. Would have loved to know a it about considerations of working environment. Does Matt use a table, does he performsurrounded, that kind of context is interesting to understand.

I love Matt's advice. It really does boil down to not letting your demons win and just go an do it!
This was great! Thanks for your insights Matt
