I have the exact same setup on my ducati but I find the bar ends don’t stay secure at all! They seem to loosen pretty easily over time. Very annoyed.

Well done video. I wish you spoke some in the video, to elaborate upon what you are specifically doing. I too have the 821, do you mind adding or sharing a link to the adapters you used for the fitment of the mirrors? The factory mirrors are rubbish in regards to vision and I would feel much safer with these. Cheers!

Hi Daniel,Not much of a talker, maybe when I make the next video I will add some commentry to it. Here is the link to the bar ends I used. The reverse retro mirrors fit on the bar ends.www.rizoma.com/universal/mixed/ma534/en?MOTO=56614440-50463006-R

Switch the mirrors, left one to the right and vice versa. The straight edge on the inside :)

They pivot on a ball so i can just twist it to make the straight edge on the inside.

Hello how did you disassemble the handlebar counterweights?

    • @ravjets1898

Just give them a sharp twist and they come out. They don't have a strong glue holding them in.

Man, Ducati could have separated the mirror bar mount from the rest of the instrument housing... taking the mirror off makes it look unfinished after. You can obviously tell there was a mirror there before...

nice job mate, i am thinking of getting the same bike. i just wanted to know your thoughts of it as i am not allowed to test ride one as i am only 19 and want one for an A2 licence. nice video keep it up!

hey Ben, thanks for the feedback on the video. I have some more to film with a tail tidy & new exhaust when that gets delivered. The monster is a great bike. I never test rode it before I bought it too. I'm not sure how the bike would be if it was restricted. I only ride in the sports mode and couldn't imagine this bike with less power like the other modes.

I have this bike and its super fun as it is. But if you are going to make it A2 league, I would look at something else. Take a look at Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 from Husqvarna.

Great job on the vid! I am preparing to install these on my 821 as well. may I ask what size Allen key or torx bit you used? also was that the only tool you used to complete the job? thanks!
